I'm a die-hard buckeye but i have so much respect for our brothers at State College. You guys know how to get loud and we return the favor when you come here. The people who think VT playing metallica over some speakers or clemson throwing balloons in the air is better are just plain dumb. Big Stage, BIG TEN!!!!
@22Scarletngrey Thanks, you're a good fan. Amazingly, this game was only one of two blowout losses that PSU has suffered since 2005. You know, that was a great win OSU had over the Oregon Ducks in the Rose Bowl, helped renew some respect for the Big Ten.
When Penn State can win one game at the 'Shoe, then their fans can talk smack about it. Penn State has not won there in their brief history in the Big Ten.
Penn State has come very close the last three times in the Horseshoe. Losing 7-13 in 2002, 10-21 in 2004 (remember that 2004 produced one of the worst Penn State teams ever), and 6-14 in 2006 until those two pick sixes within the last two minutes. Also, I'm pretty sure that in 1994 Penn State would have won in the Horseshoe, but it just happened to be in Beaver Stadium that year.
#1 student section in the country? Is that official? Too bad your team lost pretty handily. By the way, Beaver Stadium, are you kidding me? The 'Shoe is architecture. The Beav is big & generic. Looks like any other stadium in the country.
It is actually official, voted by ESPN. Too bad we beat you this year. And no, we are not kidding you. And define Architecture mate? Tell me another stadium that looks like the Beaver? If you generalize it, you could also say that the Husky stadium of UW looks pretty similar to the horse shoe. By the way, it looks more like a urinal :P But that's just an opinion I guess.
Our stadium is so much better than "The Shoe." I don't even see very many Ohio State fans there, and they pride themselves on taking over other BigTen stadiums. I'd rather be a Nittany Lion any day.
The shoe brings results. We have only lost at home once in two years and... I think twice in three years. Ohio Stadium is historic and massive, not to say yours is not massive as well. Our stadium doesn't need to white out the other team, because our team does that for us. And if you want to go with bigger and better. Ohio State is the largest school in the country and basically owns the Big 10, thank you.
Actually, you did a Scarlet Out in 2006 against Penn State. The atmosphere of that game may have helped you escape with a win against a knock-your-teeth-out PSU defense.
Also, don't forget how Ohio State fared in 2000, 2001, and 2004. You're not immune to down years either. And remember what happened in 2005? A great Buckeye team lost to a Penn State content to sit on their lead for the second half.
Don't you remember? You guys wanted to do a scarlet-out to counter the whiteout of the year before. The entire student section looked solid red. And like 2005, 2006 produced a good game.
WTH r u takling about? Just because we cheer for our own team more than root against the other team doesn't mean we have a no booing rule. r u really that stupid? pitt sucks. WE ARE... PENN STATE!
Too bad Ohio State won just like they do every time they go to Beaver Stadium..

@wedontgiveadamn Now that PSU has won recently in the Shoe, it's now a total of 6 wins in Ohio Stadium for the Nittany Lions.

Dude do you know what you're talking about? A "Scarlet-Out"?? We don't resort to gimmicks. We just win Big Ten championships.

Yeah Beaver Stadium produces results too. We also have only lost there twice in three years.
