Rockstar have created an amazingly detailed city, with nothing much to do in it in single player mode once missions are complete.

I have no desire to watch the TV in the game, go to comedy / strip clubs / do hookers etc. because these are not games ... there is no challenge involved. Where are the timed challenges and incentive to beat your previous score etc?

Well.. Both Consoles are great actually.. if you're willing to invest something for the future i suggest you the Ps3.. but if you're willing to afford a system which can be powerful at the moment and proves smoother framerates than the Ps3 i suggest you the 360.. The Prices also vary of course.. 360 is a lot cheaper.. If you want to play games like Gta4.. Assassin's Creed etc.. i suggest you a 360.. but if you want games like uncharted or mgs4.. go get a Ps3 now!! Both Consoles are great! :D
