  • If the bailout is a move toward socialism, why did the only socialist senator in the nation vote against it? I'm gonna guess Jim DeMint wouldn't know socialism if it was a lobbyist handing him millions of dollars from an energy or health related corporation. Energy and health industries being DeMint's favorite campaign donators, of course.

  • I am tired of Republicans whining about President Obama and the Democrats. Where was he and his folks when this stuff started under Bush? More importantly, what is his (and/or the Republicans') plan to rescue the economy that's better than the President's? If all he's going to say is "cut taxes, cut taxes, cut taxes," then they have no plan. All they want to do is sing while the Titanic goes under.

  • Demint is still a hypocrite I know because I live in sc. He is a huge homphobe I agree with him somewhat. Ron Paul's politics are better than jim on the economy.

  • Just remove the '()'.

  • DeMint is right. The Feds basically created this problem. More Federal intervention will only make things worse. Repeal the Federal Reserve Act of 1913.

  • There are a lot of other "moves towards socialism" going on out there...

  • Indeed there is. Central governments world-wide are exploiting the labour and loyalty of their peoples. Self-determination & liberty - these are powerful messages for those who believe in freedom.
