I think this is a really good song.

We all see people everyday who are hurting. Most of us ignore them ... we've all done it. But we should show them that they are loved ... tell them about Jesus. Show them a smile, give them a hug, or pray for them. You never know what they could be going through.

This song is so true and its message is still standing strong today. It says in the bible that for the least of these that you did these things, you did it for me. When you're out there helping someone whether buying a drink, meal or giving some money, remember, you're doing for Jesus. Also, don't forget to speak to them about God's saving grace, thats what we are called to do. jesus said to go into the world and make disciples, yes, spread the message.

There was a man from Paridise, California that I met and began to help. I would always tell myself I need to do this or I need to do that for this man. The man passed away and I think to myself if this was Jesus then I failed him because I did pass him for the twenty first time and will never get a chance beyond that. Incredble. This song really kills me because my dorm is in a part of town (off campus housing is a pain by the way) where a lot of homeless people live. I know I can't give them money because I don't know how they will spend it... but I have no excuse, there is a sandwich shop between the dorm and bus stop that I should be making more stops at.
