  • Dwight needs to stop lifting weights and stop wearing those Chelsea tank tops and spend all his time on his footwork and touch. So clumsy and uncoordinated. Lucky for him, there are no centers anymore.

  • This shit is nuts DH has had Ewing & The Dream no way he shouldn't led the league in scoring every year and be the MVP wtf

  • 1) Dwight is not smart enough to pull these moves off in game. 2) He shoots around chest level instead of above his head, so any 7' who puts his hands up can block Dwight's shots

Summary: he's too stupid and doesn't use his full extension.

  • @NiceGuy55 1) you're not smart enough to talk sh!t like this while he's among best center in NBA while you're average nerd on youtube everyday.

    2) which any 7' can you simply name 5 whoever blocked D Howard ?

Summary : you are too stupid and he use his full extension on your mom

  • @fingaroll5 Why be ashamed...even the great Kobe Bean went to see the Dream

  • @NBALJFan23 His listed height was 7'0 in acuality he was 6'10 watch hardwood classics of when he went up against Ewing, Robinson, & Shaq they were 1-2 inches taller than him. And he looks shorter because Dwight is taller not because he's shrinking

  • What was that noise at 3:52

  • Hakeem could play today and average at least 15 against these centers in the NBA now

  • Comment removed

  • @jdubs912 he looks completely like an active player, maybe he could!

  • the dream is still good for 20 and 10

  • dream makes it look so fckin easy

  • lol, the short upper body of dwight makes his lanky arms look even longer...........maybe that's why he's lighter and can jump higher ...less weight in the center....

  • just watching hakeem makes you dizzy

imagine how it must feel to guard that shit...

  • lol, dwight looks awkward when he does those moves lol

  • This shows that Hakeem was Head and Shoulders Better than Dwight Howard will Ever be. I am shocked at the HUGE difference in skill level. Dwight Howard should be ASHAMED of himself. All this time in the league and HE IS JUST STARTING TO WORK ON HIS FUNDAMENTALS.

  • @fingaroll5 true..i believe when dwight was coming up he saw and wanted to be more like shaq..but he's not built like shaq was nor is he a dominating force as far as weight and power he's built more like hakeem and tim duncan so he needs to learn his post moves and improve his range shooting !

  • @fingaroll5 no doubt, most of howard's points come off offensive boards and alleyoops...i watched the series when dream schooled the fuck out of shaq, (dont even get me started on david robinson) makes me think that he would be higher ranked than shaq in terms of all time centers.

  • dude, why does hakeem look like hes better than half the centers in the league right now

  • And btw I meant jumpball instead of tip off between Carter and Yao.

  • I always wonder why they use that word undersized so much with 6'10 or 6'11 centers. I mean being 6'11 (2.10m) or 7ft (2.13m)...whats the real difference.. If you got great leaping ability, doesnt that make up a lot for being "undersized"? I mean we all know the tip off between VC and Yao Ming, Carter(G/F) being 6'6, Yao(C) 7'6 and Carter wins that one. And what about being a small forward..you dont ever really hear sumone who is undersized for that position between 6'6 - 6'9.

  • I am the next jeremy lin

  • both men are 6'10" (undersized as centers), but play like they're 7'2"

  • @oOoleveloOo Olajuwon was 7' or 7'1. He only looks shorter now because he's getting older and you lose around 2 or 3 inches of your height by the time you're 50 especially if you were around his height because of his posture.

  • Olajuwan makes me proud to be AFRICAN!!

  • @cmade152 so whut does that have to be with bein' an African?

He made a career of his life and u just worried about bein' an African.

So what do u do that, also other people can be proud of to be African?

Where he from has nuttin' to do with the game. Olajuwan is a Legend for the NBA but not bein' an African. I hope you understand my point.

  • Hakeem and MJ footwork are similar!

  • Hakeem is a lot smoother. Howard is more jangly.

  • @intlkeyboards yeah thats true

  • how bout you work on your freethrows dwight.. jk

  • hakeem can now even kill the nba

  • Why doesnt dwight use any of these moves he never shoots fadeaway

  • can someone tel lme how footwork can help you me in bball whatt drills can i do cause im not a post player but i want to develop them

  • @LOCOFASHOBRA Hakeem came from a soccer background. I would advise to take up some soccer and your footwork should improve in no time.

  • Olajuwon is still the man..

  • @TheLastLeedle agree lol

  • Olajuwon was such a special player. He had the best footwork I've ever seen for a big man.

  • The dream still got game

  • @TheLastLeedle much easier to pull this shit off when there isn't a 7 footer in front of you. Hakeem had the extremely rare ability to do that, Dwight isn't as skilled.

  • @NBAGOATS ,he's the same height as Hakeem and taller than Mourning, size shouldn't be an issue

  • olajuwon still got it :D:D::D:D

  • that set of shirts that dwight wears looks like a girdle from behind. lol

  • He's undersized for Hakeem's era. He would get dominated during that era. Luckily for Howard he's in an easier era that allows him to dominate.

  • These are really basic post moves. Shouldn't Howard already be across all of this?

Hakeem is a legend by the way.

  • 2:17 I'm afraid that there aren't very much of taller and stronger guys than you

  • @dinocelikovic

howard actually is undersized for a center. Bynum, both Gasols, Hibbert, Al Jefferson, etc. are all taller than him and bigger. Kevin Love is the same height and weight except he has the inverse of Howard's "offense".

  • @JamalGoldberg you might be right but certainly there are not many players stronger than him out there

  • Hakeem come back to the NBA, Play Some Games.

  • Hakeem is still the beast

  • i dont understand how 6'11 is undersized ?

  • @jahoostyn

Howard is about 20-30 pounds heavier than most power forwards and even some centers(Javale McGee) and and his height is average for an nba center.Besides, Garnett and Duncan are *6'11''* and they're power forwards. So, it's difficult to play against teams that double him with two guys who are his height and size. Therefore, he has to learn to play farther from the rim.

  • @jahoostyn its a power forward position dude 7,0 and up is center position bro howards not a center hes a power forward yeah he can play center position so thats why hes undersized man below 7,0 is undersized center 7 foot is the legit center position howards 6,11

  • @TheDwill26 you dont just see size, its the way you play, wes unseld alonzo mourning were great centers, they were certainly undersized but they play like centers, its not your size but how you play, dwight cant play PF, he doesnt have a game away from the basket

  • now i see why Dwight is a beast

  • @TheLyfeHersh are you kidding? Howard didn`t get 30% of Hakeen told him...

  • i want to go to the nba SO MUCH!!!

  • @wolfland46 good luck 1 out of a mil but if u make it il be happy for you

  • i think hakeem could school dwight in the post even now how sad is that

  • Bitch

  • undersized his 6 11 and is fucking ripped

  • dwight is barely undersized, wth is he talking about. Charles Barkley was an undersized big man, though he was a PF he most definitely was the shortest in the NBA at the time for his position.

  • hakeem and dwight are both legit centers and both deserve respect.

  • Jordan needs to do a little one on one and teach Kobe a thing or too to refine his FG%

  • @tkcwu

    ...really?....

  • @tkcwu kobe shot the three ball more efficiently and more often than jordan did in his career...lifetime, jordan and kobe mirror each other in terms of points per shot attempt (1.27pps)...also, don't think that jordan could teach kobe to grow bigger hands or gain better hops...because jordan was unstoppable inside the paint because of those

  • Hakeen makes Howard look like trash. Howard isn't ready for the Dream Shake.

  • I have to be black to understand what he's saying. That's probably why I suck at basketball.

  • @shogrran

    ....*cough

  • Nate Robinson is there to help out!!!!

  • Hakeem looks great. People don't talk about him enough.

  • i can't tell if that other guy on the court is a normal sized guy or a midget

  • for dwight to only average 18 pts a game for his career is a travesty. its sad his offensive game is not fully developed at this stage in his career

  • This vid is gr8. It's really helped me improve my post moves

  • Now all he needs is Reggie Miller to teach him how to shoot free throws.

  • @ballinbro95

and gary payton to show perimeter d. lol

  • he sure ain't much compared to what the dream was... hakeem could beat out the best of em.

  • Comment removed

  • damn, is that in Hakeem's house?

  • dude that average guy looks like a chi;ld next to these beast.

  • take some jumpers in the game dwight!!!

  • pause on 3:25 and laugh

  • hakeem mid range game is amazing most centers cant shoot too far

  • I like D.Howard, but he will never be as good as "The Dream!"

  • Olajuwon can still ball!!! Mitch Kupchack sign him up!!!! lol

  • Since when has Dwight Howard been undersized? was I sleeping?

  • @KingOfTheUnderwear maybe 6'10'' on a good day

  • Patrick Ewing and Hakeem Olijuwan haven't made any type of impact on this guy. Dwight is just a terrific athlete with no game. Don't ever get old, kid.

  • Hakeem is the big man sage.

  • @saigondj He'd own your ass anyday.

  • @darksydeparks stupid, im not an nba player

  • @saigondj you are such an idiot. Do you not see the he dunks and gets fouled

  • @MrZmaster1998 he'll fold when goes againt an agressive player, he is also not a clutch player - sign of a mentally wekanes person. He's also a closet homo. ohh come out and play Dwight

  • wdight plays like a girl, hes soft and gay as hell

  • @saigondj why dont you suck his dick and get a fucking life ? ^^

  • @tranquilityzxc why dont you get a dick?

  • dwight is 6'11''

  • everyone please check out my nba mixes at my channel please :)

  • @NBAMiXeS4LiFe if i am going to meet you in real life you'll get a penny

  • @TheAwesomeBoy90 u like them???

  • olajuwon look like he could still play

  • How fast he was in his prime he looks better thank howard wowwwwwwww

  • Geez Hakeem still got it

  • @3:21

now that little dude is undersized. must have been intimidating!

  • all that easy shot... never seen in game.. NEVER!!

  • how quick is Olajuwon at that age !

  • was any1 else thinking hakeem would teach dwight the dream shake

  • Damn his still good as hell. SHould be in the nba still

  • Hakeem is one of the 3 best big men of all time. Period.

  • I remember having my broom out when the Rockets beat the Magic in the Finals

  • If you really look closely you can see that Dwight lacks a little bit in footwork!

  • Hakeem and Time Duncan are the most underrated players in the history of basketball.

  • Akeem Olajuwon the Mahummad Ali [foot work and athletic IQ] of big men in NBA history; sweetest moves ever!!!

  • they're to short for basketball

  • not even guards can replicate hakeem's footwork.......what a legend

  • too far

  • Dwight undersized? Yea right

  • @Toxxicc81 Undersized as in height.

  • @Toxxicc81 he's 6'10 thats undersized for a center.... dirk is taller then him

  • that original africa product, dwight just need refresh..

  • Man, I miss those Clutch City Rockets... The Dream was second to none.

  • 20 seconds soo smooth

  • @Demoniiiic

And that's at 40+ years of age too.

  • hakeem is much smoother than dwight

  • Dude do you see how smooth this nigga is lol Hes one of those natural basketball players dog. LONG LIVE THE DREAM

  • Howard needs to ditch his tight jerseys and faggy arm sleeve accessories

  • swish, swish, swish, swish, swish...

  • He measured 6'9 barefoot and 6'10.25" in shoes... The average barefoot height of drafted NBA centers since about 1989 is roughly 6'10.5" and about 6'11.5" in shoes so yes he's undersized. Hakeem has never been measured barefoot as far as I know but most everyone that knows not to trust "listed" heights suspects he's also in the 6'9-6'10 ballpark

  • that dude looks like a midget compared to dwight and hakeem

  • I haven't seen Dwight try mostly any of these moves in an actual game.

  • @GRE8NESS1 I was thinking the same thing

  • @GRE8NESS1 So You're Saying Dwight Howard Doesn't Use A Hook Shot In The Game? That Like His Signature Move, Cmon Man Watch Some Ball

  • @albaniansoulja his signature move is catch, back down fake spin, spin other way and dunk

  • PLEEEEEEASE COME TO WASHINGTON AND TEACH JAVALE MCGEE

  • Hakeem is so smooth.

  • Hakeem still can move

  • Man hakeem is way quicker than dwight at his age now! All from footwork

  • it's always an awesome sight when you see legends mentoring the nba players of our day

  • @jtin2324 its only awesome if it is useful.

  • @x69Crunchyx to say hakeem's moves aren't useful is like saying michael jordan sucks

  • @jtin2324 i meant its only awesome if its useful to dwight because he doesn't seem to use any of hakeem's moves in games. If you can show me that he at least tries to do it in game (good pivot moves etc) i'll admit that they are useful to howard. obviously hakeem is a 2xmvp they were definitely useful to him but maybe not so much to DH12

  • @x69Crunchyx oh i'm sorry i didn't know what you meant :P yeah i agree. dwight seems to only use the running hook shot >.<

  • @jtin2324 read GRE8NESS1 comment

  • thumbs up if u agree hakeem would destroy dwight in a game of 1 on 1

  • @evilbadtzmaru thats why they are working on it now go to sleep its 3:03 a.m.

  • half of the things hakeem is teaching dwight won't work because dwight has no jumpshot. If dwight spins away for a 10-15 foot fadeaway that's a win for the defender.

  • Olajuwon though had one thing going for him that many big men in his time didn't; awesome footwork. Guy picked up football (or soccer) at an early age and applied those concepts to playing the pivot spot in basketball. There aren't many big men now who have the kind of footwork olajuwon has. Hence they can't really unlock the full potential of the dream shake.

  • Some of that stuff looked really nice. If you excuse the traveling

  • what the fuck is with the midget on the court? O.o ... big guys play ball... little midget step up... I'm like ... WTF!? xD

  • @suckmyshizzel hes a normal sized person, around 5'5. Dwight & Hakeem are like 6'10". Thats why he looks so small.

  • Comment removed

  • isn't as smooth...doesn't have the same rhythm or pacing...too stiff and unfluid

  • legendary.

  • Howard needs to extend those big arms of his during his shooting motion, if he wants a turnaround-jumper like Hakeem.

  • Dwight was travelling half the time

  • Comment removed

  • Hahaha!!! In the beginning I thought it's Shaq coaching :D

  • Hakeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeem...i dont know much about him but hes a good teacher i suppose.

  • Kobe's Voice "Your Welcome"

  • God I love this video.

  • In my opinion, they are the 2 best centers of this era.(in other words the past 20 years or so)

  • 1:23 dwight and hakeem look the same height

  • @TheAnswerIverson3 That;s because they are. Hakeem's height has been debated and question since his playing years. Hakeem is actually 6'10".

  • i want to be 6ft10. fuck!

  • andrew bynum is good, but when hes your starting center in the west all star game, you know the game is lacking big men.

  • @TheBoiFlip

This is similar to what I said to a friend before, when Andrew Bynum is considered to be the second best center in the league, that tells you a lot about the quality of today's centers.

  • HAKEEM STILL GOT THAT FIRST STEP...
