I disagreed with Tiger in the clip b4 this.They should've taken Baku with them.Hard 2 think that something so innocuous looking put up such a fight againest Chariot and those other baddies out of loyalty 4 Genki who reminded him of his old owner.Definately one of the most emotionally poignant episodes of Monster rancher IMO.

Baku is one of my favorite monster rancher's monster,the others are Hare and Tiger,i became sad when it died,it should be noted while in the games,when a monster dies it doesn't turn into a lost disc,they simply disappear and drop a heart.

@DigimonEnglishDub from a story stand point, it's more dramatic and gives the baddie more impact on the audience. From a strategic stand point, that means that baddie knows the area and would have more of an advantage.

a baku is a spirit that eats nightmares, in japenese lore, i can see why its so sleepy all the time. the pkmn drowzee is said to be the desendant of the baku(pokedex entry in games)
