  • wtf, i love j rock, but i didnt expect any j rockers to make music with a danish title! hahah thats great (; i'm from denmark myself.

  • Why is the tittle in norwegian ? i would like to know :)

  • @TheLilKarma It's in danish (:

  • @TheLilKarma hahah xD I thought that at first too.. like: "Norwegian!! 8 D . . . but then I read it again, and realized that of course it's Danish.. you know.. the fairytale: Den lille havfruen/The Little Mermaid is Danish.

  • Wtf, I was just like.. Wtf XD I'm danish so this was pretty weird for me XD But I love the song :D

  • i love this song =)

  • pure beauty . . .

  • haha, oh god.. this is pretty cool xD I'm from Denmark, and have never expected a j-rock band with a danish title :b

at first i was like "wtf?" .. Btw. I think this song is really pretty, I love the calm feeling there is in his voice. I haven't heard many of their songs yet (found out about them this evening) but think I will be a bit addicted to their music, after what I have heard until now o(^w^)o

  • Hahaha "Den Lille Havfrue" is "The Little Mermaid" in danish XD To actually think that a J-Rock band would make a song with this name! *finally something to be proud of when you're from DK* XD

  • oh dear, those lyrics are so beautiful. I almost whept, while reading them. I love the song, Ryo's voice is so soft and yet strong. 5/5

  • I know... This song makes me so emotional. I have to admit, I have cried a couple times when listening to this song. Thank you for the rating!

  • haha xD den lille havfrue! xD danish name for a japanese song, never seen that before xD

  • jeah, now it's like cooler to be from denmark OwO ~ i mean.... a veeery good japanese song with a danish name : D yaaay xD

  • @IamKira1 But it would make sense if the title was in danish.. H.C. Andersen was from Denmark after all.. :)

  • @IamKira1 nah, it's danish "Den lille Havfrue" is a sculpture and a story written by danish author H.C Andersen :)

  • Oss mig!! Grinede mig i laser, da jeg så navnet XD

  • hehe godt så er jeg ik den eneste xP

  • wonderfull song `////`

  • In Norwegian: Den Lille Havfrue

In English : The Little sea mistress/ lady

  • thank you so much for the translation :D

  • No problem! :D

  • and mine too^^

    this song's so beautiful *__*

  • WTF? "Den Lille Havfrue"? O.o

how the heck did they come up with that name? xD

Its the Norwegian... (well, mostly Danish) name for the movie "The little Mermaid" xD

    Anyways, It's a Beautiful song...

  • If I'm correct, they chose the song title because they didn't want any association with the actual disney production of "The Little Mermaid", and wanted to get back to the orignial, depressing story. To do that, they thought that giving the song the original Danish title of the story would be best. I don't know what their reasoning was for naming it that in the first place was, though... But it's a beautiful song, both the words and the instrumentals. I have the translation up, too~

  • aahh, Okay... ^^

I've actually never found a translation for it :s

It would be really great if you posted the translation in the description-box-thingy :3

  • Oh, really? :D I actually do have the translation, I've posted a video of it matched up to the translation, so if you wanted the full effect of the lyrics you might want to look for that. /: But I'll put the lyrics up here, too!

  • haha okay, denmark is quite popular amongst j-musicians, hm. XD i would never have thought japanese artists would name their songs something in danish. what a laugh it hafta be to hear them present the song XD

  • Almost as funny as it is trying to hear me. <o< It's usually something along the lines of "Den lille have...ferue...?" xD I think they like it because it sounds so foreign. :D

  • haha xD yeah, i guess "havfrue" is tough.

    uhmm, i can't even put up an example of how to say it, because the way we pronounce "r" is quite different from a lot of other languages xD;

well... they should have named it something like.... "økologiske æblers åsted" :D (the scene of crime of ecological apples XD)

just because the letters æ, ø, å are awesome :9

  • If I was a real fan I'd look up how to pronounce it <o< Or at least the katakana that would tell me how.

As amazing as it would be to see those letters in the title of a Japanese song, I don't think naming it "the scene of crime of ecological apples" would be as symbolic xD But maybe you can send it in as a suggestion, and one of them will like it. Probably Ryo :'D

  • Den Lille Havfrue = The Little Mermaid

  • Yes :D Based off of the statue~

  • and a story! .. from my homecountry!

  • Lol Den lille Havfrue??? Japansk rock? Hvorfor lige dansk??? x) Det er da sejt... Hører ikke J-rock though...

  • omfg danish

    luv this song <3

  • It's my favorite on this album. x3
