@TheLilKarma hahah xD I thought that at first too.. like: "Norwegian!! 8 D . . . but then I read it again, and realized that of course it's Danish.. you know.. the fairytale: Den lille havfruen/The Little Mermaid is Danish.
haha, oh god.. this is pretty cool xD I'm from Denmark, and have never expected a j-rock band with a danish title :b
at first i was like "wtf?" .. Btw. I think this song is really pretty, I love the calm feeling there is in his voice. I haven't heard many of their songs yet (found out about them this evening) but think I will be a bit addicted to their music, after what I have heard until now o(^w^)o
Hahaha "Den Lille Havfrue" is "The Little Mermaid" in danish XD To actually think that a J-Rock band would make a song with this name! *finally something to be proud of when you're from DK* XD
If I'm correct, they chose the song title because they didn't want any association with the actual disney production of "The Little Mermaid", and wanted to get back to the orignial, depressing story. To do that, they thought that giving the song the original Danish title of the story would be best. I don't know what their reasoning was for naming it that in the first place was, though... But it's a beautiful song, both the words and the instrumentals. I have the translation up, too~
Oh, really? :D I actually do have the translation, I've posted a video of it matched up to the translation, so if you wanted the full effect of the lyrics you might want to look for that. /: But I'll put the lyrics up here, too!
haha okay, denmark is quite popular amongst j-musicians, hm. XD i would never have thought japanese artists would name their songs something in danish. what a laugh it hafta be to hear them present the song XD
Almost as funny as it is trying to hear me. <o< It's usually something along the lines of "Den lille have...ferue...?" xD I think they like it because it sounds so foreign. :D
If I was a real fan I'd look up how to pronounce it <o< Or at least the katakana that would tell me how.
As amazing as it would be to see those letters in the title of a Japanese song, I don't think naming it "the scene of crime of ecological apples" would be as symbolic xD But maybe you can send it in as a suggestion, and one of them will like it. Probably Ryo :'D
This isn't music anymore. It's poetry. Simply awesome. I hope this unique band will make more music in the future.

haha xD yeah, i guess "havfrue" is tough.
uhmm, i can't even put up an example of how to say it, because the way we pronounce "r" is quite different from a lot of other languages xD;
well... they should have named it something like.... "økologiske æblers åsted" :D (the scene of crime of ecological apples XD)
just because the letters æ, ø, å are awesome :9
