Ok,I have a DSi on 1.4.3 U and im getting a 3DS (have no idea what firmware ther on) They said that 1.4.1 and on blocks flashcards,3ds new firmware does the same,bla bla bla..well on the dstwo website the newest firmware for the card supports latest 3ds and dsi firmware.i was wondrin if u just put the update file on the micro sd card and boot up and it will work,,im a confused N00B :) .... Plz help me b4 i worry myself to death..BTW i want it working on my 3ds more than dsi.so...pl

I started way back with getting 3 M3 DS Simply's. They saved me Soooo much trouble when all my DS games got stolen from me. Then I went and used some R4's with the Wood Kernel. These dang cards are awesome. I know people really abuse them by pirating games, but I use mine for backups. My Wii also uses Wiiflow from a hard drive, so when my box of games was stolen I would have been out like over 4 Grand! For honest gamers, these things are great to insure yourself and very convenient.

I'm thinking of getting a DSi XL and started looking at cards as i found out my Edge from my original DS wont work and came across the DS TWO.

When i was looking at other cards though they were talking about needing a DSi to be able to put on firmware and such as for some reason you can't do that on the DSi XL apparently. That was the acekard 2i though i read that about.

Does the DS TWO work on the DSi XL with just a simple download and move onto the sd card or do i need a DSi?

Hello,

Yes the Acekard 2i is still sold by some sellers with the 1.3 Bootloader.

So for the Acekard2i to work on DSi 1.4 & 1.4.1 it needs to be updated first.

The Supercard DSTWO is already pre-patched with the 1.4.1 Bootloader.

So there is no need to update the Supercard DSTWO.

It will play on the DSi XL right out the box.

You have a different card that will not use this kernel.
