  • Thanks..First time Ive seen this w/ Kbells. Interesting..I must give it a try.

  • Thanks, my brachioradialis hate you now.

  • do this with a lighter bell or you might need a new jaw

  • like any exercise you have to do quite a few sets to get the feel for them kettle bell workouts are great a combination of strength and cardio you wont hurt your forearm if you do the exercise as shown

  • this looks really bad tech for your back

  • There is a Greco Roman wrestler who practices this doing 100 reps per side or something on a regular basis. He is one of many people who advocate circular cleans and the benefits for posture, back strength and lats development in a traction/circular exercise.

  • cool i will have to look it up.

  • For this particular exercise, it's best attempted after understand how to do the correct Clean & Rack. This is a supplementary exercise that I would do for fun/variety and not a standard workout.

You can always use a much lighter weight to prevent shoulder injuries.

  • It's actually one of my staple kettlebell workouts along with the snatch. It's very functional for strength and balance while wrestling or clinch fighting.

  • Does the kettle bell hurts when it hits you though? i been wanting to try the kettle bell workout, but looks like it could hurt my shoulder the way you have to sling the kettle bell!

  • hard exercise :(

  • isn't this reverse to the way maxwell does them?

  • Looks great but it can't do your forearm much good! :-)

  • Thanks for the comment. I don't hurt the forearm as the timing is similar to the regular cleans. I'm more aware of my shoulder rather than the forearm.
