  • I can hear section of 8 in this haha. Goes to show how much they recycle which is a good thing =D.

  • This whole thing sounds very Bach-ish.... (I think it was inspired by Bach in the first place, right? My knowledge of classical composers is currently quite fuzzy.)

  • why do i see kefkain a bride's dress to this??

  • @meseamonkeyman

The mind sees what it wants to see?

I kid, I kid. They call the whole song "Dancing Mad" for a reason, I'm guessing. The tone shifting from erratic, to menacing, to almost serene make it a fitting title...

    But now that you said it... cannot unsee! ;_;

  • Must every part of this arrange put images of kefka in female outfits in my mind D;

  • By far the most beautiful part.

  • Got a real classical sound to it which is really fitting of the somewhat biblical bossfight against Kefka's tower of ruin ;D

  • Kefka - Why so Serious? lol i love this

  • Is it just me or does this part actually

sound like an actual classic piece

    from another composer?

  • @mrsticky005 I think the original is supposed to be something called..."Catalyn Fugh"....In D minor...I think? I'm not even sure what Catalyn Fugh Is, or even if that's how you freakin' SPELL it, so don't quote me on that.

  • @Saber698 Don't worry. I can't spell Latin either. Assuming that is Latin. It sounds crazy enough to be Latin. But anywho thanks for the info.

  • @mrsticky005 Hmm...Latin. Never thought of it that way. The only reason I "may" know this is cuz I watched Peanut3423 "The Autarch of Flame"'s Top 15 final bosses video. Think he said Cataiin Fugh Hearing it again. Whatevs, you decide if you wanna look it up. Its the second half, Kefka's spotlight at 3:09. It's somewhere in there if you want to dive in further. :)

  • @Saber698 I dunno if it's Latin or not. It's just a wild guess. Thanks.

  • @mrsticky005 Inspired by Bach. There are parts from multiple pieces in this song. :)

  • @MrBoredomrulesmylife Awesome.

  • Haha love it still, although it doesn't really sound like fighting music it's still cool lol 5 *****

  • Does anyone on Youtube have ever heard about something called "sense of joke" ? Or are they all so in love with forty-pixel virtual characters that they can't accept to laugh a bit about them ? Even Kefka would have laugh. But he always laugh anyway... Why his fans don't do like him ? : )

  • Dude, I think that you're right, but don't try to fight it. Even the guy that made the xkcd webcomic once commented on one of his comic (I'm so not going to look for it) that "something very impossible to hapen" was as likely to ocur as someone on youtube understanding a joking tone of another user's comment.

Hell, I've seen people thumb down "THIS IS THE SHIT" once, thinking they were insulting the video. There's a lot of morons out there.

  • You sure speak wisely ! Nice to read you ! : )

  • Maaaaybe. :)

  • "Why do people insist on creating things that will inevitably be destroyed? Why do people cling to life knowing that they must someday die? Knowing that none of it will have meant anything once they do?"

"Life...dreams...hope...Where do they come from? And where do they go? Such meaningless things...I'll destroy them all!

    WOOHOOHOOHOOHOO!!!"

  • Are you the same guy I commented before? o.0

  • Kefka for the mother-fuckin' win!

  • @NightMarkVII

The way I see it, he's right. But it's going to be here when I'm alive, Kefka. So fuck you, time to die.

  • @NightMarkVII I don't know what irritates me more... the fact that a clown is telling me this, or the fact that he's right?

  • The organs start at 1:21....

But this music makes me more pray than fight... ;-)

  • ye but it should start out with an overshadowing organ.

  • mp3 plz!

  • There is organ, near halfway trough to the end.

  • this sounds like a happy church music.

  • i do like the strings but you really need an organ for the grander parts of the song.

  • this was my favorite park of dancing mad, but i must say it sounds better on the organ.

  • sounds much better on organ, to me...strings don't suit it so much.

  • Hearing this makes me want to play FF6 again

  • Indeed, this is the best portion of Dancing Mad. It seems so delightfully evil, while sounding entirely graceful at the same time. The pipe organ owns it!

  • I like Dancing mad but I guess we differ, I like part two better. Dancing Mad is my favorite boss theme in FF.

  • I think the final part is the best of em all. This comes second.

  • I'm gonna go with the first segment as my favorite, it just sounds too deliciously eerie and looming.

  • Best part, thanks for sharing!
