At that time it was just a regular hydraulic flatt tappet Comp 280 cam .520/.520 lift in the Stepside with a 454 and some dueal glasspacks. The Truck Blazer was running the exact same cam in a 396 and open headers.

They both did actually. But the Erson one in the 396 motor has always been louder.

At that time of the video it had a no oil pressure 454. Now its got a different better 454 in it.

The Truck Blazer: Dana 60/14bolt 4.56 gears, Detroit locker in rear only, 396 bored .020 over Open chamber heads 9.2 Compression with domed pistons, 11" overall lift, 39.5" Boggers, SM465/205
