You know I've noticed that a lot of the best Bama/Vols games seem to come down to last second field goals....either game winning ones or ones blocked to hold onto the win.That's why this game is always so good....a lot of times it goes down to the last second!

Why did both teams wear their dark uniforms? I noticed they did that when they played each other through most of the 1960's

That wasnt all that uncommon back then. USC and UCLA did it a lot in the 60's and 70's and Georgia and Michigan also did it once.

Who ever wrote the subtitle doesn't know what he is talking about! I know, I was there with my Dad in M section! Tenn led at half time and it started to rain. Stabler came out throwing but was behind 10-0. Second half Bama scored their only TD and throwing for 2 pt conversion. Later added a GF. It was UT who drove late in the 4th qrt and missed (very controversal) a FG at the one with a few seconds left
