i have the same remington straightener. Except mines skinny. I've had it for two or three years. But i like my Fahrenheit the best. I use both sometimes but no volume my hair is really curly. I like it flat when i straighten it.

I have layers, and my hair on the right side (in the front) is framed. So whenever I straighten my hair, the framed part ALWAYS flips outwards naturally, and will NEVER go straight! It looks demented when the rest of my hair is straight too. I try twisting with the iron towards my head, that never works. What do I do??? :(

I try wetting my hair and then straightening when its wet. Or I just normally do a braid where it flipps out. Sometimes i braid my bangs in with it.
