and what do you call what Russia is doing in Georgia now? Don't tell me it's a protection oF citizens. First of all abkhazians an Ossetians are citizens of Georgia, and if evil Putin gave them pasports , that doesn't make them citizens of Russia, because it's iLlegal.and second, it is beyond any protection. theY occupied ,invaded, killed,raped,captures civilians, blowed up infrastructure objects, schools,children camps, burned forest, wheat fields,bridges. should I go on? isn't this GENOCIDE???

Evidence, anyone besides saka, give you this information, because there are several sources. Which retell events of Georgian troops shooting down civilians, Georgian troops throwing grenades into cellars where people take cover, and Georgian troops who kept bombing towns in South Ossetia well after being kicked out(while russian military bombed only military targets). This was genocide by the Georgians, not Russia.

@SneakingFrog we had only 2 airplanes oporating during the russian georgian war and u had more then 50 wich flew in georgian and bombed gori as russians say but if 50 of them bombed gori then y isnt all part of Gori distroyed??????? becouse only 25 of them tryed to bomb gori and we shut down 23 of them and other 25 of russian airplanes were bombing osetia and then u blamed it on us!!!!

Abkhazeti is very close to an earlier annexed territory of Georgia, now in Russian hands, called Sochi. Putin has a summer home in Sochi.

Georgian lands of Abkhazeti and Ossetia are heaven compared to anywhere in Russia. Rich Russians are buying homes and summer residencies in Abkhazeti and Ossetia.

Georgia is only alternate route of oil besides Russia. Georgia wants to join NATO, Russia fiercely opposes. There are many reasons why Russia wants it.
