what can i do if my real hair underneath is thicker and longer? i feel like my head must be bigger than.average because wigs always fit me terrible! advice?
If your hair is thick and long, here are many different ideas to help: dampen your hair first to make it flatter, brush out all hairspray & gels, braid your hair in 2, then criss-cross the braids and bring up and around your head- bobby pin with pins heading to the back of head, use a wig cap, slick your hair into a very low pony at the nape of your neck-then split the hair and pin up on both sides. To quickly lose the shine, simply put a dime worth of talcum powder in the palms of your hands and rub together. Then, gently touch your hands over the wig.
But remember, billions of dollars every year is spent on shiners to make our own hair shine and look healthy. Our own hair may not shine, but it's sure great to wear healthy looking "hair".

You will always lose a very small amount of hair on any wig, long hair wigs will seem like more, but it's more the way you brush your wigs that will cause the fibers to fall out. Treat your wig like expensive lace lingerie. Do not pull and yank the hair as you brush it. Brushing roughly will also eventually pull the curl out of the wig.

Thanks. It's Skyler in Nutmeg F. And, isn't that root something? That's what we're known for. When there are good "roots" a person with darker complexion or eyebrows can then wear a lighter colored wig and it will look natural. You should give it a try sometime!

thanks, if you check out our other videos, you'll see different ages of women wearing our great wigs...our modern looking wigs will drop those 30 years to 5 in 10 seconds!

Thanks. It's Skyler in Nutmeg F. And, isn't that root something? That's what we're known for. When there are good "roots" a person with darker complexion or eyebrows can then wear a lighter colored wig and it will look natural. You should give it a try sometime!
