I love how Brendan Benson's always acting all cool and "I am playing guitar..." While Jack White is always on the verge of flipping out. ^^ They both can shred but I just love my little Jackie White and his silleh flip outs. ^^

They're having to much fun! But the crowd isn't =/ I hate when they play a show (or any of Jack's other bands) and no one is moving. Unless they're in Ohio. Whatever their genre is (blues, garage rock, whatever) Ohioans LOVE it! Just a random observation.

There new album kicks the shit out of icky thump. I really like the white stripes, but that album really sucks. I was so disappointed that it wasnt even half as good as their first five albums.

really? I liked icky thump it kept the feel of the white stripes. I think they just mixed alot together, Acoustic songs, bag pipe songs, garage type songs, mexican, etc.

the new album is much better than the first when you talk about a finished product... but when you start talking about what they can do with a song live, the first album mollywhops the second.

I think that Nivek0270 hit the nail on the head. First album is not as good of a recording, but it makes for better live songs. Second album is better production and in some ways better songs, but can't be changed up live very well.
