Woaw. I'm guitar player and i bought ukulele some weeks ago and it's nice instrument. Can I ask you something? What string are you using? I have nylon, but it's strange for me :) My all guitar has steel strings. I want some steel for my ukulele. Is it normal? :) Oh and sorry for my english I'm from center of europe :)

there are certain strings with wounds. some have 3rd string wounds, this is usually for tenors. But if u have a concert size u should try for a low G wound which is the top string has the steel.

Don't use steel strings unless your instrument was braced for steel. I use nylon.
