the production of this musical is fantastic and the music superb, I have seen the french version only in video, but I had the luck this August to see the Japanese adaptation from my fav all female theatrical troupe LIVE!!!! It was so unbelievably amazing! The actress for Romeo gave me shivers all over my body with her voice in that particular song called "Kowai" (I'm scared). Tybalt was my fav character though :) (simply because the actress playing him did amazing on stage <3 )

well the translation isn't perfect. Being fluent in both french and english you see mistakes. For example, at 1:17 He says, vous mes amis amis mes frèes debout, wich is basically You my friends, brothers wake up! (not you my friends my tasteful brothers)

He isn't saying vous mes amis mes frères debout, but vous mes amis mes frères de goût. And even I who is french don't know how to translate this in english.

I think that (if I take in consideration the rest of the song) it means that his brothers are peoples who wants to experience alot of things in life without taking the risks in consideration (like alot of young people)

I would have say that it just means his friends and him are so close that they like exactly the same things...And maybe that he chose them as brothers, unlike the other brothers whom he speaks earlier, the brothers of blood.
