So I have wax worms too and one of mine went into some sort of red cacoon thing. Is it dead or is it going to become a moth or something.Well um pretty sure it's alive cuz when I touched it it moved and wiggled.I just don't know what to do cuz it's not in a cottony thing like yours.
@leopardgeckocrazy13 Yes it has started to pupate, some of them spin cotten before pupating while other do not, i believe they are treated so they do not spin. They will turn to moths in a few weeks and then breed many baby wax worms.
How do you keep them from spinning that cottony stuff? It's annoying when trying to fish w/ them.

Do you feed them honey? I have mine in containers with wax paper balls I put honey in.
