No, they didnt take his name bro. In baul songs, you have a signature verse i.e. there is a sentence, in which the original composer mention his name.

So when these fake ass singers sing the song they are forced to mention Abdul Karim, other famous names you may hear are Radha Romon, Durbin Shah etc.

Also the melody/composition (which u cant change) belong to these great musicians, but these new age singers change to words, and pretend its a new song.

Bangladesh must begin and rigorously enforce a system of intellectual property rights. Songwriters are supposed be paid royalties on the use and sale of their songs. It's a shame these original songwriters are being ripped-off by popular hacks today.
