Good tires, rear wheel drive, and the car does the rest. It's easier than you think. Please try it on a track tho. I hate those idiots thinking they can race and start drifting on the streets and end up hitting my friend's Mom on the way home from working in the E.R. late at night and ending up going back to the E.R. not for work... FYI drifting is slower than road racing for those thinking it will cut times off of a lap at a track or something.
