As you were probably told a million times, he was called Firebrand in the Gargoyle's Quest series, a spinoff of Ghosts n Goblins. However, he was only named in English releases, he's just a random red arremer in the Japanese releases.

he's a little more known for Demon's Crest for the SNES though, very good game if you've never played it.

During the old years of NES gaming, his name has been Firebrand for quite some time when they pushed him out. I guess in a way he became "sort of" a villain for G&G. Though i don't know if THAT enemy was Firebrand.

From what i thought, he was working as a hero for a demon realm, but i forgot the entire story, so i doubt that was right. He's went through NES, SNES (one game on it was badass with it), Gameboy, etc.

They added no female characters, I mean mystique that's a long time coming, let alone silver surfer, doc ock would be nice with his tentacles, but I doubt they will ever bring back cable "no complaints"

Firebrand seems to be the Best character in the game he s like Wolverine with Projectiles

and i believe he can create a Stone Skin for a short time

@musicisthebestF He is fast but he does very little damage with most of his longer extended combos using meter nets him about 500k without XF. If you're not good at flight cancels/combos + resets he won't do very much damage. Firebrand also has a hard time against characters with good anti-airs and getting in on annoying projectile.

Luminous Body (the stone skin) speeds him up only.

In short, Fast Low Damage character dependent on resets and flight combos with weak range game. All IMO though
