  • If those people walked up to me and started rapping like that, I would just give them my wallet and run!

  • Holy fuck! This is real? I should start a baby safe haven. I could make so much money. I already am working on my song for the add. I might go with a folk song instead of rap. But I need some stupid teen moms. Hit me up if your down.

  • Now if they were targeting white women, it wouldn't have been a rap song. Just a way the media informs black folks that they aint shit and this is what we think of them.

  • Stupid Inner city scum

  • I saw this in late March-April on a New York station called TV 10/55 WLNY. I also saw one with a girl telling how she called Baby Safe Haven. It got removed off YouTube, I think.

  • When I saw this being aired on local public TV stations in MA I was in shock! I couldn't imagine what type of message they were sending out. I'm glad I wasn't the only one thinking the same thing. Glad they took this out.

  • wtf

  • Now can a man drop his baby off too, when he all alone and dont know what to do? LMAO, hypocrites.

  • Yo yo yo, fuckin' bitches, makin' babies.

People swear like rap music hasn't had obscene subjects before. LOLZ

  • Baby Safe haven,Baby safe Haven haha!

  • i talk from a profesional point of view as a sotial care worker for child services... rapping this? as if having a baby and handing them in was cool... please...

if this was in united kingdom i would have taken them to court just for this idea of the add.. and i also consider this add racist, but that is another topic

  • @TitoPortu i agree... this add is totally giving the wrong message.. can't believe no one in the production team was thinking, what the fuck are we doing?

  • @TitoPortu

Well guess what you limey pussy this isnt the UK. When the chips are down over there you dont call baby safe haven, you call US. I'm not sure what passes for professional in that part of the world, but over here in America, correct spelling is a good place to start. "Sotial"? Good thing nobody matters from your pussy piece of shit country.

  • It's Possible!

  • whoa who came up with this video concept. pbs kids?

  • Sad. All this will do is serve as another form of birth control for ignorant, immature girls that don't know how to keep their legs closed. All humans should be mandated to an IQ test before they are allowed the ability to reproduce.

  • 5 babies were aborted after their mothers watched this video.

  • some of them bitches looked good. ill give them some babies to get rid of

  • But if she keeps it and the father is not present they can go after him for child support. That is double standard. Safe haven is legal abandonment and the father should have the same right to legally abandon the child without permission from the mom. And also a man can't simply sign away his rights if he wanted to. But without permission or anything from the father the mom can abandon the child and not pay one red cent. Inequality hurts everyone.

  • holy stereotype!

  • Storming the charts real soon!

  • have a baby no strings attached

  • rofl

  • This sucks. Change it.

  • I'm a "rapper" and I covered this "song."

    Starts at about 3:54

    watch?v=I5W5vpOBv7Y

  • This is terrible. They actually had another one that somehow managed to be even worse.

  • this was a fail... why does everything need to be in rap form

  • So sorry that I don't advocate making it easy for people to either abandon their own flesh and blood. Just because a mother is young and in a bad situation doesn't mean she's a bad mother, or should give away her kid. Adoption is permanent, and being financially unstable is temporary.

  • @RowanAlison To a degree your a fascist if your against safe havens. Girls/Women having babies they don't want and will abandon is inevitable. Any good society will take care of babies that women will have but don't want. Even if she's a women who is grown and financially well off, she to shouldnot be frowned upon if she chooses to leave the baby in a safe haven. You want babies to die instead of giving the moms this much need option. Why are you against adoption. It's a need period.

  • @u2hubbard How am I a facsict? Yes, girls/women who have babies they don't want will need Safe Havens, that is true. But my problem is this advertisement, making abandoning a baby look cool by throwing some music into the mix. Thats what I am finding disgraceful. If a woman is well off financially and gets pregnant, then she can get an abortion. or keep the baby. or better yet, get some education so she can get on birth control so she won't get pregnant at all.

  • @u2hubbard Adoption is not a NEED. its an institution that no longer looks out for th welfare of the child in a lot of cases. it needs reform and stricter guidelines. I am adopted.

  • @RowanAlison I was adopted as well. I was in and out of foster homes and group homes. So please donot even try to tell me about the adoption. That is why I'm passionate about this issue. You don't see the need for something that you claimed to have been in. Yet you never cared to ask about the cases of others who went through social services like yourself. They probably had it way worse and need to be away from the family. You want to force a broken home to stay together.

  • @u2hubbard I know plenty of others who wrre adopted, so don't assume I don't know what I'm talking about. Many adoptions are not the results of broken homes. Many are infant adoption that never should have taken place. Don't tell me how to feel about this, and I'll do likewise.I am passionate as well, and you need to realize there are others who feel and see the adoption industry for what it is.

  • @RowanAlison You want the state to enforce your ideals of how families should go about the issues they have with their kids. Every house hold is not the Brady Bunch or 7th heaven. This is the real world and some girls/women cannot take care of the kids they have, be it mental or economical or both. You want to place a child in more unstable and more uncertainty instead of using our tax dollars for a good cause and that's helping child who would be better off in the hands of the state.

  • @u2hubbard Tell me where I said the State should force anything! Now you're just reading what you want to read into my comments. This is pointless, you've made that very clear that you have no intention of understanding a word I said.

  • @RowanAlison And because you want the state to enforce your views on family upon others that is why I call you a fascist. The state is supposed to be the safety net, and providing the options of safe haven and adoption is that safety net. People like you need to learn to not be judgmental and mind your owe values. If you want to raise a family one day and keep your kids than cool. You do you. But don't try to take the options away from someone else.

  • @u2hubbard I'm being judgmental? Really? Because I happen to find this disgraceful video in bad taste?

  • @RowanAlison And one more thing. I agree social services and the system concerning adoption needs reform. But I feel you and I would be at odds with each other on how to reform it, simply because you want to do away with it and force families to stay together and raise a baby they don't want. Ever thought what if both the child's parents were dead? You are simply selfish and fascist. Everyone is not going to be born into the pleasant ville family lifestyle. So you need to deal with it.

  • @u2hubbard Ok seriously, you are being silly. I don't want to do away with CPS or Social Services! Are you stupid? Those are important services and this country needs them. If both children's parents are dead, then there is the grandparents or whatever family they have. Aunts, uncles, whatever. Children do not need to be sent outside of the family if there are relatives willing to take them.

  • To all who are against the ideal of safe haven, get a life. Any good society will take care of children that the mother doesnot want to raise.

  • that girl with the baby in her hand is kinda cute

  • I just eat 'em.

  • All this advertisment is doing is encouraging young mothers to just ditch their babies rather then get help with caring for their child!

  • @RowanAlison In a way it's a good thing. You answered the question as to why it would be a good thing. Young mother. Young=unprepared often both financially, mentally and also relationship wise.

  • @u2hubbard How did I answer ANY question? The key here shouldn't be finding homes for babies with young mothers. The emphasis should be on educating young people about birth control! So they don't end up in this position. And then, if they do end up pregnant, they should be taught to care for their children. Not told to give them away. All this "rap" does is trivialize a big problem and make it seem cool to just abandon their kids.

  • @RowanAlison Your so full of it. A lot of what you speak of is irrelevant. Sex ed in ever school teaches girls about birth control. Far as taking care of a baby, most young girls are not able to because they are just that young girls. And every persons situation is different. You want to FORCE someone to do something they don't want to, and most likely can't do. This is not a forced society (especially for women). It's like your advocating a softer form rape by the system.

  • @u2hubbard Are you serious! sex ed is NOT in every school. I don't want to force anyone to do a damn thing. I would never advocate rape in any way. I'm a rape survivor so shut up. Just because a girl is young doesnt mean she can't care for a child. Its not a ideal situation, but its better then forcing her to give the baby up.

  • WTF is this trivializing crap? I think i threw up a little!

  • the world is crowded enough this to me is encouraging baby making they 've enjoyed making them let them enjoy paying for them and looking after them we have lots of underage girls in trouble wheres the parents guiding this selfishness and stupidity maybe until they can prove there maturity they should be on contraception

  • Yeah, children aren't little people. They're punishment for having sex! And forced parenting is obviously the best kind.

  • @jenkinscrowe Go screw yourself. Adoption is necessary. Why force someone into something they don't want to do. It's better that we as a society put out tax dollars towards helping children that mothers can't take care of, or don't want. Some women can't get an abortion so deal with it.

  • @u2hubbard, I wasn't talking to you, but I don't know why we force people into things they don't want to do. Why was my mother forced to move across state lines, have a baby she didn't want, give it away, and never tell anyone? She didn't want to do any of that.

But it;'s OK, because somebody got a baby out of it. Just like this mess.

  • This video used to make me and Paul laugh when we lived in Massachussetts.zzz

  • IT'S POSSIBLE!

  • The best part is how the girl is holding an empty blanket the whole time EXCEPT for one scene when it cuts to her and she's holding an actual baby, and then it goes away and cuts back and it's just the blankets again.

  • I fuckin lol'd. hahaha

  • this LAW only encourages the kids to have babies because they now have a convenient place to dump them off and assume NO responsiblity for the baby they created OR themselves...then the majority of them get pregnant again, i have seen this! its like they figured out if they keep having kids, they know that they will keep receiving welfare, again, i have seen young girls with at least 2 kids born within a year of each other. sadly history repeats itself & theyre not smart enough to stop it.

  • this is 1 of the many reasons y liberalism doesnt work & y the country is going down the drain.what happened 2 the days when being pregnant while being a teen was shameful&embarassing? if a baby is unwanted, get an abortion or go on the pill. i thought the kid could be forced 2 do so if they were under 18,but i guess being pregnant & the parents not forcing them depends on their mentality, but theyre usually "smart" enough to know if they do keep the baby they will be living off of tax payers $.

  • Is another reason liberalism doesn't work is poor grammar?

  • sorry? if you were addressing me, which i assume you were because i got the email, i had a lot to say and only so many "character counts" so i had to shorten my comments.

  • LOVE IT. ha alec i meant to click the thumbs up arrow on your comment but accidentily did the thumbs down! i'm retarded sorry haha

  • i love PSa´s........if you enjoy this u all need to check out Canadas accident PSa´s and domestic abuse PSA´s...solid gold.

  • Link please, although I don't think anything can top this..

  • Oh god, me and my roommates had some epic laughs over these PSA's back in freshman year. The Dominican lisp on everyone is just priceless.

  • ahahah

  • "no questions axed" haha

  • anyone stupid enough not to use birth control deserves to be talked down to

  • this is all because Massachusetts hasn't made a law banning babies as of yet

  • "IT'S POSSIBLE"

  • tho I canbacan be there?????????????

  • Yo maaaaan, is yo' baby crapin' yo' STYLE? Drop that 'lil fucker off at BABY SAFE HAVEN!!

  • written by a white yuppie advertising agency and the school let the kids be used in it. I love you guys, too, but dang...the kids in the video should have been the ones to write the commercial! I still sing BAY BAY SAFE HAVEN all the time, tho.

  • BAA!

    i love you guys hahaha

    "baby, safe haven...baby, safe haven"

  • dude. this rap is maybe the lamest thing i've ever heard. i'm not trying to be cruel at all. but "bring the baby to cops or the hospital. it's possible!!!" is maybe the stupidest thing i've ever heard and also, at the same time, the most out of sync thing i ever heard in a song or rap. lets work on making things a little closer to perfect when we're putting it out for the public ear to hear, folks!

  • I think the message here is good, but the rap is bad and the message is lost. Reaching out in this way makes the targeted audience feel like you are "talking down" to them.

    JMO

  • These things don't save any lives. A rap or a law is not going to reach a person with the mentality that can drop a child in a dumpster. More serious help is needed for that problem.

  • no wai dude this totally saved a million babies ! lol.

  • lulz

    THAT'S RACIST

  • oh my god i thought i'd never see this again. soooo amazing.

  • I don't really care what people do with their unwanted babies, but this ad should've been aborted. Oof.

  • hey everyone i was one of the actors in this video

  • OMG I remember these commercials!

  • To me Baby Safe Haven is only about one thing, and that is saving baby's lives.

Amazingly, many staunch pro-choice, and staunch pro-life people agree that Safe Haven is a great thing.

  • ahahahahah oh lord they all went to BAA i love it ahaha

  • XFD

  • chinese, food restaurant

  • You know they had a health class contest to see who could come up with the best commercial... and this won...

  • makes me giggle.

  • Montgomery, Flea Market

  • I think you have no idea of the trauma that a young woman can face when faced with an unwanted pregnancy. And yes, making it as easy as dropping off a UPS package will in fact save babies lives, and provide babies for the long list of people waiting for them.

  • Yup youre right and it also sends a message to these little sluts who cant keep their legs shut that its OK just drop the kid off and go on about your life and there is no responsibility for their actions. The same shit that women are taught every day. Women want equality but yet they demand a double standard in the form of laws that favor them.

  • @blackulus4ever Yeah! Because babies aren't people--they're punishment for sluts!

Do you talk to your mother with that mouth, you misogynist ass?

  • It's great. Gives young, or for that matter any women in a terribly difficult situation an opportunity to let their child be given a home. This should have been done decades ago.

  • We can just drop kids off like UPS packages. great.

  • word

  • Ya, all the whores can bang whoever whenever and drop all responsibility with a lil physical pain, and surpass the pain of abortion debt... shoulda been done YEARS ago.

    fuckin liberals.

  • Well good luck passing a measure to outlaw being a skank-ass-hoe and then enforcing it successfully. You'll have about as much success as you have with the "war on drugs" lol.
