Generally, I love this show, but some comments made here are utter bollocks: 'there's only one name that says style and luxury: Rolls Royce'. Ever heard of Merc, Aston Martin, BMW, etc, etc, Ed? Mike says that 'to millions' the Rolls Royce Silver Shadow is 'the best car ever made'. Again, bollocks. The concept of 'best car ever' is a nonsense anyway, but to anyone that knows ANYTHING about cars, the Silver Shadow is in NO WAY in the running for best luxury car (which is its logical category).
@worldinagrainofsand well a good RR Silver Shadow drives far better than any Mercedes, BMW, Aston Martin or Jaguar of the same period and I've driven all and they have a far better interior than the others of the same time although Astons are not far behind but try finding one of them for 3k !
the wheeler dealers should replace top gear altogether, Ed would kick Clarkson's ass any day. And Brewer and Hamster could beat the shite out of each other, and poison each other with fumes
