I think the song/short film has nothing to do with going mainstream. IF it were an issue about mainstreaming one of the band members would not be co-producing it with their video director. As for the song: It shows that they are not simply a band that can scream and beat on things. This, as well as Vermilion Pt.2, shows that Slipknot is not only a group of performers but that they are a collection of some very talented musicians.

I'm looking forward to it just like every other Slipknot release.
