I think the Illini went to the rose bowl in 1982 there was a song it went something like Illini loves the roses Illini bringing the roses home,, where can I hear that song what was the name of it,,
At least Illinois wasn't allowed to put on their racist, tacky minstrel show.. That would be the only thing that could have possibly made the game uglier.
Thanks mike, I'm disappointed that we couldn't keep the score closer, but remembering and having to endure the last few seasons combined with the fact that this was still a rebuilding year makes me glad that we made it as far as we did. We will continue to improve and probably see you guys again in the coming years at future rose bowls!

SC fan here and I just wanted to say that despite what happened to the Illini in the Rose Bowl you guys had a great season.
