Just two months ago there was another teen suicide because of EXACTLY what you talk about here that being, life WASN'T getting better for him. How can we tell some young person or anyone really "look to the future" when their present is so crappy? I agree we, ALL OF US have to work with the present in oder to MAKE IT (the future) BETTER.

i saw these videos and realized what i had to do, it wasnt even a second thought. i made a video like this (or as close as i could come) to an it gets better video for over weight people on my page. it just seemed right.
People who engage in homosexual conduct have a shorter lifespan, a higher suicide rate, and are at higher risk of being infected by HIV/ AIDS per CDC statistics. Not really a "gay" lifestyle at all. It needs to stop. When 53% of the new cases comes from less then 2% of the population, we know there is a serious problem.

I know personally a role model to me that was bullied because he was gay... Everyday he was beat up, picked on, called disrespectful and awful names and he felt like it was the end of the world. He wanted to die at times but he kept through and stayed strong and now he lives an excellent life with a fabulous partner whom hes been with for 14 years, a great family, friends, and a bunch of people who look up to him. I applaud him for being so amazing.

This is amazing, and so true. Our community is amazing, and we are all so beautiful, and we all deserve to be treated fairly. So let's stand together and unite to BE the change we wish to see in the world. It will get better, as long as we make it happen.
I think some people are missing the point. He could sit there, make promises & maybe save some lives, but still would that save all the lives or stop the bullying? No what hes doing is saying we need to focus on the source of the problem, not just try to fix it one thing at a time but solve it all together. the only way thats possible is if we stop talking about how nice change could be & actually take the initiative to make change happen because if we don’t things can worsen.

As a parent, I am very proud of the stands you take and you're not afraid to say it. I am spreading this video to all my family. I support my son and am so proud of the person he has become. Being,gay, I believe he has become a better person for it. My am sending this to son's aunts, uncles, grand parents, cousins.

It needs to stop. When 53% of the new cases comes from less then 2% of the population, we know there is a serious problem.

Or if you mean is being homosexual a choice, I'll say this: Homosexuality is developmental and there are a variety of factors that lead people to struggle with feelings of same sex attraction. You may not choose the feelings, all of a sudden, but sexual conduct is a choice, otherwise people would be forced to engage in sex with every single person they felt attracted to, and would have no choice in the matter.

I know personally a role model to me that was bullied because he was gay... Everyday he was beat up, picked on, called disrespectful and awful names and he felt like it was the end of the world. He wanted to die at times but he kept through and stayed strong and now he lives an excellent life with a fabulous partner whom hes been with for 14 years, a great family, friends, and a bunch of people who look up to him. I applaud him for being so amazing.

I think some people are missing the point. He could sit there, make promises & maybe save some lives, but still would that save all the lives or stop the bullying? First of all, I realize you do it in every video but pimping your channel during an uplifting message of hope (we'll get to that in a second) is low class, at best. You could have broken tradition just once.
Second, slow down, you talk WAY too fast.
Third, false hope or not, it's about HOPE and kids not killing themselves. Yeah, they need to work for certain things, but in order to do that, they need to stay alive first. Telling them that it's gonna be really hard won't help.

As a parent, I am very proud of the stands you take and you're not afraid to say it. I am spreading this video to all my family. I support my son and am so proud of the person he has become.
