I just finished this project and made it for my daughter. We love watching Totoro! Thanks for a great tutorial. I can't post a pic of my Totoro because my camera's batteries went dead. I didn't use button eyes because I don't have any, but I sewed black thread sort of like embroidery in the eye places and I think it looks great! Thanks again!

I just finished making my first white Totoro and this was simple and easy to follow. Instead of the eyes from etsy I used buttons because I had a few sitting around and it all just turned out so adorable :)

@ImTheRealNoodle I'm not sure you can make this without crochet hooks. You really do need that hook to grab onto the yarn. Sorry about that :(
