well if you've listened to interviews with them they do make music that pleases themselves.. its pretty much known that the old stuff from take this to your grave is better than IOH and the new one which im prtty disappointed about. the point is if they were jus trying to get more fans they would make another take this to your grave sounding record. people change their style of music because eventually you can ony write so much of the same genre without repeating something you've already made.

Ofcourse you have to love the music to do it, but you wouldn't have gotten success in the first place if you didn't have the passion for it.
And ofcourse the money matters, I cant think of anything better than making money through music!
and if fall out boy's new album is a success they will be remembered in ten years, i think this album will be make or break for them.
