Your idea is pretty cool: an EPIC BP and a focus sash + flail (x6 atk, x2 Agi) is an awesome sweepin', but its a very frail tactic, too hard to push it sucessfully and easily countered (taunt on the BP, lum berry, priority moves, ghost type, iron barbs, sturdy, focus sash, entry hazards, a sandstorm or hail inducer, and more possibilities that i possibly miss), but, nonless, an EPIC Flail. Is it ever difficult to run this, since you must run into the occasional Lum Berry + Entry Hazard user sometimes? Lum Berry + Superpower is pretty difficult to get by on Tyranitar, because even if Smeargle has Focus Sash, Sandstorm will take that last bit of HP.

This is a year ago. smeargle has moved up in its tier, and u shouldnt be scared. have 1 roarer or have pokemon that can bring the sweeper down to its sash, then use a priority move.

Smeargle is neither NU or NFE, also this strategy is beaten by anything with a priority move or a Focus Sash.

I have in the past run a similar team, but I used Sub on Smeargle instead of Agility, then had a Salac berry on it. Though that did require me to lead with Carp to get the 1hp for flail, then other team member was there to basically die and if possible set up rain dance for the swift swim on Carp.
