I just made a huge cauldron of chicken soup to keep my kid's and their families in soup for a while...but I am anxious to try this when we have a leftover cooked chicken. It looks great and makes great sense. I see you are praying people...I too will ask that you keep my family in prayer at this time. You will be in ours too! Blessings to you and yours.
for the fluffiest white rice boil the rice with lots of water like pasta, no need to measure but add 1 tablespoon of white vinegar before boiling. boil uncovered about 20 minutes then drain and rinse. tastes like uncle bens and very fluffy. you do however lose nutrients from the rinsing.
i like listerning to this lady explain the whole type of rice extra..i should really try tis at home..but might not put the jasmine in the microwave..but instead in the rice cooker...
I was jus on my way o the grocery store to pick up some grocerys for our Easter supper.
I was checking the Internet for some recepies and guess what ?? I found your Chicken recepie on Youtube !!!! SO Cooool to see and listen to it. Thanks alot ! BTW who is that nice lady in the video ??
I will be making that for my family tonight I enjoyed it so much ..could you remember us in prayer..Sherry and family God will know who we are...hugs to all your family and God Bless
I have to admit, I thought this was going to be one of those "professional" type shows but I decided to give it a go and am so glad I did. I knew my grandma and mother always used the carcass but never knew how or why or anything about it so I've been throwing them out. I can't wait to try this. Your video was heart warming to say the least. :) Thank you. Also, we are from Ohio so potatos are a staple here with the economy, I need a good potato soup recipe.
So glad you enjoyed our little video. My brother lives in Columbus so i know Ohio just a bit. I'll get busy on some good potato soup recipe as it is one of our favorites too. Leeks make it so tasty.
Thanks for your tip... i love parsley as we grow it here and garnish with it offen.. good to eat right from the garden too! Bay is a great addition too..
Hi... I was looking for a recipe for good chicken soup and was blown away by your presentation! Fantastically entertaining, you should have your own show - it'd be awsome! Anyway, thanks for the recipe and the many tips, I wish you all the best.
Thanks for the sweet comments.. we love to cook and share but our video cam is having trouble with the sound so many opportunities have flown in the past couple of months. We'll be at it soon...
Thank you for the great recipe. Just moved into my first home away from my parents, so I don't know how to cook many dishes yet. Will definitely make this one!
Scotland!!! My family is originally from there but so long ago we don't know where. Ron and I were in Edinburough a couple of years ago and would look forward to return and see more of the country. It's beautiful.
Hi Peggy, I so enjoy your youtube videos. I think you and your husband should get a cooking show on the food network. Keep posting these wonderful recipes.
Thx... we are enjoying ourselves and have two more to put up but need to 'edit' . Ten minutes on here offers a good chance to do that. Be looking for Ginger Chicken and Lemon chicken soon. A different way with Brussel sprouts too.
Wouldn't it be fun to be on the Big Tube!!
I will be publishing the recipes on our web site too.
Hi Peg! Have you tried Sumac on rice? It's so delicious especially on Jasmine rice or any other aromatic rice. I copied this off of the WorldSpice web site:
This ground reddish berry has a pleasant mélange of sour, sweet and bitter flavors. Added to yogurt for a dip, dusted on grilled fish or mixed in with rice, sumac will give a fruit and sour flavor similar to lemon. Sprinkle liberally on a bowl of hummus for authentic color and taste.
true... no matter how you spell it!

Doesn't matter by what means you cook rice...it still takes 20-25 minutes
