Sure it would cause corosion from being operated so close to the surface of the ocean but im sure they would compressor wash the engines after every use. Maritime aircraft operate in a close proximity to the surface of the ocean and have been for years and with correct post flight maintenance have little issues.

FYI there is no turbine sound when shooting from a helicopter... turbines are quiet compared to gas engines... I add whine when it makes sense.
