@GremlinsAndGnomes I'm sure but they way your talking I'm guessing you'd be far away enough to be american? and i know its like 250 euro to fly one way to new york.
@GremlinsAndGnomes It really varies - depending on where you are flying out of like bobbyring96 said and how much you intend to spend once you get there. I flew out of Seattle so it was pretty steep (About 1200 or so if I recall), but in terms of lodging B&Bs are very reasonable (Normally between 25-35 euro) and you generally get a good Irish breakfast with it. Much better than hotels as you'll get to chat with locals and learn about some local sights and ruins.
@GremlinsAndGnomes I'd seriously recommend it. You can save money by just picking up stuff to make sandwiches and such. We lived pretty high for the few weeks we were there and went out to eat every night, but that can easily be avoided if you are on a budget. It was easily the best trip of my life so far - the people are great, friendly and hospitable, and the scenery is unreal. I do recommend renting a car, though, that way you can stay out of the tourist traps.

I would love to visit Ireland sometime and see my family. How much does it cost for one person to go?
