It really comes down to this question: Why are couples of ANY sexual orientation given special protection, and do those same principles apply equally to all couples?

It is doubtful that he can continue to defend, and redefine, himself as a centrist given his many liberal positions. And that's where the votes are, in the center.

With McCain as the new leader of the party, Republicans, as a matter of course, must now come more to center, where they should be. As a committed ultra-liberal, Obama has steered the Democrat Party far to the left, a strategic mistake. It is doubtful that he can continue to defend, and redefine, himself as a centrist given his many liberal positions. And that's where the votes are, in the center.

I do not believe McCain would be setting the agenda any more than I believe Bush has set the agenda for the past eight years. His rhetoric throughout this campaign has been as far right on social issues as on security issues. His economic policy proposals are a continuation of the last eight years. His campaign has been a mirror of the previous two Rove campaigns, not much sign of a move to center there either.

Regardless of who is elected, things look bleak (IMO) - but I will choose reason and even a slim hope over what we have seen from the right these past thirty years and in this campaign.

Quite right. And I also beleive the extremist black people will take to the streets if he isn't elected. And some of them will,even if he does. I think they are the lower class,the poor and disadvantaged so it would be understandable. I don't cast my votes on fear or confusion. I try and learn all I can before I vote,it is our duty to do so. That is why I am really undecided but leaning toward a write in for Ron Paul.

Okay so the polls say that Obama and McCain are even in the polls. I say this is a lie because can't be that many disillusioned people buying into the McCain-Palin puppet act. Bush and company are pulling the strings to their campaign. Palin sounded just like Bush in her speech. If McCain wins I'll just tune the both of them out and watch this countries decent to hell.

I do it all through a process called time management. That's something you learn in school. Get an education and you'll learn how to do it.
I think it's very important to correct idiocy, so I have no problem taking extra time to address it. I consider it a form community organizing.
