@ppdirect thats such bs, deadmau5 is pretty limited in the genre of music he makes, i think the best DJ would be able to mix any kind of electronic music, but with that said he is above and beyond any other dj in his genre, and quite often his remixes are better than the actual song, eg. the original cherry twist by the crystal method is pretty good, but his remix is fucking amazing

yea all of his remixes have the same bpm because he mainly remixes house and electro songs.. go through his albums and you will find a lot of really good songs with different bpms. he stays within his genre very well but has solid songs in other genres.

plus who do u consider a good producer? i woud love to know who has all of these varying bpms consistently on all of their songs.

Theres nothing for him to "spin" he plays 90% of his own tunes live and uses Ableton live. He didn't even know how to "dj" until about a year ago when he was forced to learn to play live shows. That's why he doesnt wear headphones when he plays live, he doesnt need to hear what hes cueing up because everything is beatmatched already.
