Just saw this show live last night, and Reeve Carney is awesome as spiderman! In my opinion, he sang better live than here and the cast recording! He definitely has a big voice that can carry through a huge theater. Everybody has different taste, but this show is really something you have to see for yourself to decide. I enjoyed the show very much and would recommend it.

So when I first heard this on the album, I wasn't a big fan of the song. When I saw the show back in August though Reeve totally nailed it, when you see the show the acoustics make it more thrilling and exciting! Such an amazing show!

The actor's too young-- he sings the right way (cool vocal coach) for what the musical has to do -- but not even Jennifer Damiano can conceal what a horrible actor he is, not quite equipped for the Shakespearean non-hero that _Spiderman_ has to turn the character into if it's going to be more than a tourist attraction. I'm sorry but it's true.

I thought it was okay and did something different and the web swinging parts were cool. But considering how much the production value of this show was, I have a question. they couldn't afford better costumes? @Kylezilla The song title, I believe, is referring to the Myth of Icarus, the boy who was flying through the air with fake wings and was warned not to fly too close to the sun (for the wings would melt) or too close to the sea (for the wings would get wet and he couldn't fly). I think this song continues to echo the "with great power from responsibility" theme. It could also be about listening to your heart or you'll "fall".

My favorite number from this show!

I've never in my life seen anything so epically amazing and so terrible. The tech was mind-blowing, but the script could have certainly been written better.

Anyway, Spider man touched my hand. TWICE. My seat was on the balcony right in front of where Spidey jumps from and onto. This show is definitely an interesting theatre experience that I recommended seeing.

There are just a lot of people I know who are "tight-up Broadway goers" who had a lot of bad things to say about Turn off the dark. Me being a "theatah major" was used to enforce my opinion.
