@Sacrengard I agree, thinking about revisiting this one, could do a much better job now. Anyways, thanks for the multiple nice comments on my other videos (:
@CutlerSUX6402 That's what I love about you non musicians, you are not so picky with shit like tuning or whatever ;P If it sounds swell to you then thank you! Personally, looking back at it I'd say this is one of my worst recordings. Done much better VGM stuff, check it out!
@pureSHRED I agree that the bends are not good here, but don't worry I know how to do proper bends... I dunno why I settled with the recording, not happy with it looking back at it. The tone wasn't helping either ;P oh well!
wow i watched a bunch of your covers and i have to say im impressed your sound has alot more respect for the video games but at the same time you made it your own i really like it. keep up the good work. you deserve way more views on your vids than you have
@AcidburnHckr Thanks man, appreciate it (: Well I'm relatively new with covering these VGM-classics so I guess it takes some time before anyone really notices. Still, pushing 100 subs, I'm motivated even though I'm not getting tons of views as of now. Just investing time into something I find fun and creative, nothing more, nothing less!
@AcidburnHckr Yeah well they can only get better, actually been sitting today researching on how to improve the mix so... yeah (: If you're subscribed, look forward to hearing me improve! Just got to buy a pair of decent mixing headphones first ;P
@souzaef Not so much composing for my part, the music has already been composed. I use MIDI-files so everything is kind of halfway done before I even start working on a cover. If you're interested in recording stuff yourself, don't be put off because it seems like an ordeal. I'd say it's much easier then you might think it to be (:
@souzaef Why yes, there are quite a few. I started out with a program called Fruity Loops, it's great for purely electronic mixing. Recording audio (my guitar) is made much more intuitive in programs like Cubase (I have cubase 5), Ableton Live, Logic Pro (for mac) or even Garage Band. Programs like these are called "sequencers" and they take quite a while to get used to. There are great tutorials on Youtube so it's not to hard to learn by yourself.
@Lon1324 It's an Ibanez RG420EG, pretty cool looking and nice playability. The sound, however, is not the best really. The mics and unorthodox body kill a lot of sustain :l But it's still a nice guitar (: Glad you liked my cover!
I kind of find Heatman's stage music catchy. Like, crazy catchy.
Then again, I skipped Air man, and did the Dissapearing block thing by myself, so it's hard to get out music you've heard on an indefinate loop out of your head.
@Catguy19 Well as for Bubble Man, easy song just to take out by ear so it went pretty fast. Apart from that, I'm not THAT fast of a learner... I just let it take the time it takes. Glad you liked it, and my shirt (:
Thats hot bro u should get down on some napalmn man its easy to learn

Hei ... good cover but where you find the background music?
souzaef 1 year ago
@souzaef I always make my own backing tracks (: My covers are also detuned 2 steps since my guitar is in D rather than E.
iSometimesWriteMusic 1 year ago
@iSometimesWriteMusic tks to answer, there is some specific program to create this songs?

While your song kicks ass, I've also got to say I love the guitar too man. What brand is it?

Gotta love MM2. I'd recommend Flash man, if you haven't done so already.

Bubbleman may be weak himself, but his music is quite the opposite.
Also i agree with catguy, that is one cool shirt.

Aw yeah, much better than your old mix. :D
How are you learning this so fast?
Also, diggin' that shirt.
