I tried doing this several times and I can't get the guy to say Munchies. He keeps on reacting to the sound of the ration falling on the ground but never checks it out. oh well. Still a funny to watch this. hehe

@mikeschmeee It doesn't work until you've blown up a food shack. In every new general area in the game is somewhere a shack where food is kept, you can go in and pick up rations and instant noodles usually. You can plant TNT in there and blow it up and when you move to another area/re-enter the current one, you'll almost immediately hear the soldiers complain about how hungry they are. Now they'll pick up any kind of food you throw in their vicinity.

That's some fast digestive system dying about two seconds after eating it. So MGS soldiers have about 50 feet of vision, die after getting shot in only one arm/leg, and they die a few seconds after eating a poison mushroom/spoiled food...

@LazyAsianGamer I had my game glitch one time, and spent the rest of the game with an arrow sticking out of the side of my head. I healed right after the battle too. The graphic for the arrow just wouldn't go away

Stalth Shoot all 64Kerotans, OR beat the game with 0 alerts. Any phase that is not alert is OK.

Fly Agarics can't actually kill you in real life. The toxic is not strong enough to be considered a 'lethal' poison. That being said, I still wouldn't recommend ingesting it. It is far from considered a 'safe' mushroom to eat. As far as I know, and you have to look back at research, there's been relatively rare fly agaric deaths, if any at all.

@AWDracer Actually, Fly Agaric is highly poisonous. Dried Fly Agaric wouldn't kill you when ingested, moist and wild Fly Agaric may do.

The deaths are rare, partially due to most people buying Fly Agaric legally (either online, or at a head shop) - this is either bought as dried caps, or extract, not moist.

on the other hand, in the start of the Snake Eater mission, where there's a bridge, if you shoot its ropes and make the soldiers that are walking on it fell down from it, it wont count.

thats because its counted as a "natural hazzard." I believe if the mushroom is 1 minute after being thrown, it won't count as a kill (tested + forgot the readings)

there are some areas that have a food storage somewhere in it, and if you destroy it with TNT (for example), the guards in the neighborhood will be fammished, and start commenting about it.

similar thing when you destroy gun storages, the guards sometimes only use guns instead of AKs and they will have less ammo (when the gun's ammo is out, they only use the knife).
