I live very close to the Vermont border, and I have family and friends living there. VT has no gun licensing procedure. Anyone over 18 can own and carry, concealed or open, any loaded firearm in most places throughout the state. The crime rates in VT are very low (look it up).

The funny thing is that so many people are petrified of allowing people walk around with guns.
1. When we used to do it, we had almost no violent crime.
2. So few people would carry a gun today (people whine about carrying a big cell phone) that it is a non-issue.

Ron Paul is not going to be the Republican Presidential Nominee under any circumstances. He is there by design to keep campaign dollars out of the hands of Democrats. Many people have joined the Republican party to vote for Ron Paul, but will find that he is not even the nominee. Your support would be better going to a candidate with a serious chance of becoming the nominee.

It's highly exaggerated how stupid Bush is. We gotta keep in mind he graduated from Harvard, so his main problem is how he presents himself where he gets that image. I saw another youtube video with Harper on the 5th anniversary of 9/11 and not once did he mention America (I don't know how me did it) so you can tell he doesn't want to show to Canada that he had sympathy for America or something.

He barely graduated, I also doubt he did it honestly. But yes he wasn't dumb in the 90's but he got worst as time went on, there is a video on youtube that does the comparison. Harper wants to murge our countries and loves the 2004 era bush admin so he likes America and a little too much because I think he is selling us out in the SPP.

I have no problem being friends as countries. The problem is when we lose sovereignty. That is the problem and he is selling us out. With the SPP Harper will become nothing but a glorified Mayor of a big city. We will lose any real control of our country so will Mexico. I do not like the idea of becoming Puerto Rico.

Because any real power will be given to the US and that is not a good idea considering who has been president since at least 1913. actually, he has said that he would not cut off anyone from welfare or social security. he said that it would be unfair to cut off people who were trained to be dependent on it. His goal would be to cut off any new cases and place more emphasis on free market solutions to these social problems.
