For now it's not. I haven't found its best performance yet since i plug this emg acs through my electric guitar set up. Maybe direct plug into mixer or keyboard amp with full range speaker is far better but it needs outboard acoustic preamp or DI Box. My preliminary thought that it has more natural bass response and resonance than a piezo pickup.Fingerstyle guitarist would appreciated its warm tone.

@isonsov I have the EMG ACS on my Epiphone Masterbilt. I love its fat and crisp (sounds contradictory, but it's not) sound.
