I just watched the movie. It doesn't have Jesus in it at all, and certainly not having sex or leading a congregation of zombies. There is no naziism or cattle mutilation. I don't agree with your argument. Seeking a ban on a film, for whatever reason - religious or otherwise, is not grounds to view the basis of that ban as an "unwelcome burden". On the contrary, i'm sure you'd be the first to stand up for a ban against a film glorifying say, paedophilia (if you knew the masses agreed with you no doubt). the only for of money taken in is from donations and during communion, of which is optionable, the money then goes towards the ministers pay, church activities and towards general upgrades, etc. How do you justify that it's a scam? I'm interested..

The producer and film makers have a right to show this movie and the people have a right to see it, no one is forcing this down your throat. The film will of course have appropriate age limits and little children will not be given a chance to even get near a screening. I don't agree with your argument. Seeking a ban on a film, for whatever reason - religious or otherwise, is not grounds to view the basis of that ban as an "unwelcome burden". On the contrary, i'm sure you'd be the first to stand up for a ban against a film glorifying say, paedophilia (if you knew the masses agreed with you no doubt). Doing something like what this guy has done is standing up for his principles. Suffice it to say he has none in this case because this whole ban thing is fake.

But what this man should realize is that if anti-religious things should be banned, why should religious things be allowed? Someone might find religion offensive in some way. The basics of all religions have good intentions, I don't deny that. (Intentions, because there have been innumerable religious wars, where religion is used to repress a population, and keep them dumb. That's what European kings and emperors did during the middle ages. Keep the people naive, and it's easier to rule. And crusades were an excuse to conquer new land, but the people believed it was gods will. Same story now in Iraq, insha'Allah)

I do see what you mean but I also think that religion is used as an excuse behind the wars instead of a reason. I totally disagree with war in Afghanistan and with the invasion of Iraq but I think all religious people will have a different view. This is what people need to learn, people that follow a religion believe the same basics but their views on things are often different...
