its seemed tht yu have literally have made this song more difficult for yourself to play. personally it isn't an easy song exactly but the techniques i use are highly similar to the song. i would suggest using guitar pro. hopefully tht wasnt a guitar pro file. and no im not being an ass or anything.lol im not exactly the greatest guitar player.

Metal song, at 175bpm .. this means that the intro is made by eighth note, if u play it with alternate picking.. it just lose tight and aggressivity. Moreover, you would do eight and sixteenth notes all alternate...10 years (TEN!!) ago I was taught to do master of puppets all downstroke for a reason.. I teach also now.. Again, just look at how DEVILDRIVER plays it if you are not convinced enough by my words

But that's not saying downpicking isn't important, it's very important, especially in metal. I just hate it though when people say that you HAVE to downpick or its not right. It'll comeback to bite them though when they try and play a solo and can't alternate pick worth a shit and have to spend a year or so working on it.
