I reward Shin Megami Tensei: Imagine Online a 8.5/10 for being one of the only mmos I can stand to play and for the reasons below.

Although the customization and open world system as well as the dedication needed to understand the game makes it a challenge to players newer to mmos, the rewards are great, in that in the end you end up with a character that is completely yours, and that is completely awesome.

Megaten requires dedication to master. The level cap is 97 and the leveling process especially towards the last levels can be brutal and challenging. But Level is not everything in the game, the game offers complete class customization and a majority of good items can be gotten before the cap, not to mention the now over 200 demons you can manage to write contracts with.

The demon system, is almost half of what makes up the shin megami franchise, and makes the game-play completely unique

i used to played this game and quit bcuz of the slow movement of your character but apart from that i think is an ok game and is not confusing you just need to get use to the fighting style of this game.

This game. Is. CONFUSING! The tutorial is minimal, and if an in depth one does exist it isn't very obvious. Get into a guild or make friends with a veteran if you hope to get any enjoyment out of this game.

The graphics are decent, don't let this trailer fool you. The game play itself is very confusing, I found myself unable to fight monsters properly.

Only get this game if you don't mind spending hours learning.

My Opinion gives this game a 6/10.

That you *don't* need one, not that you do. It's an action game, so the graphics have to be like this to play it and not lag with an average computer. Unlike most MMORPGs, this one requires skill. You can dodge magic and bullets, and block or counterattack melee attacks. Lag would make a game like this pretty much impossible to play. Not to mention that these probably put less strain on the server.

It also fights like an action game....you can dodge, block, and counter attacks.

just saw this game again for the 2nd time.  At first it just sounded familar, but I decided to download it, and am now ready to say. LOVE IT!!!!
