Oh wow, Pete's wah-wah synth (plus drums and guitars, is that Ringo, John, and George, or Keith and John Entwistle?) makes Paul's voice sound even more badass at 0:38-1:00 and again at 1:47-2:00.

I only wonder, is there any version that doesn't sound like blasted through a telephone line?

Now make a mash-up of "Helter skelter" with The Who's most badass song, "Won't get fooled again", the 8:33 version, maybe with the wah-wah synth from here included! ;)

correct it was "I Can See For Miles". He talks in the Anthology about how he read a review on the song and was a bit jealous as he thought he would like to have a review that said those sorts of things.

@captainvaritek It was actually a review of the song "I Can See For Miles" that Paul read which claimed that the song was an absolute sheer blast of noise, or something to that extent. Paul saw this as an exaggeration and set out to write a song that lived up to that claim, hence the existence of Helter Skelter.
