Smoking creates pyrolysis products called aromatic hydrocarbons which r carcinogens, but if tobacco is NOT smoked it won't have these unless its fire cured (the wood smoke absorbs into the leaves!) Curing and fermenting tobacco chemically changes the alkaloids to carcinogenic nitrosamines (TSNAs), BUT fresh uncured tobacco is virtually free of these and they are in TRACE amounts. It is the uncured NON-SMOKED form of tobacco that contains the ANTICANCER CEMBRANOIDS which show medical potential.

Ironically, Tobacco does have powerful anti-cancer properties, they are called cembranoids and they are found in uncured tobacco. But that doesn't mean it is a guaranteed cure for cancer, nor does it mean that you should smoke it. Research on them is only beginning, but it is very exciting!

@nuhalao As for type 2 diabetes, there are many other factors than excess that contribute to this disease, eg. being part of an ethnic group, genetics, share equal ground when considering contributing factors. In recent british medical journals several patients are being cured by changing there calorie consumption to 600 kcal per day. it has no ethnic predisposition

Raw food vegan diets do not do anything with respect to cancer, it does in fact open you your risk of Alzheimer's and several other conditions do to an amino acid that prevents protein glycation that can only be gained through eating meat. (they do sell a supplement but the dosage is barely a 10th of what you need and is horribly expensive)

For every survivor you bring I could bring the families of 5 who died trying it. But I can point out millions saved through surgery, chemotherapy, or radiation treatment.
