@dominicsoon No. You still have to pay the fares as they are deducted accordingly when I checked my ezlink card. As for how the fares are monitored, I was unable to present the deducted values to my phone but the transacted value was shown correctly on my card. This is a difficult process and I have given up on this project 3 months ago. All I could manage was shown in this video. However, I managed to fix the bugs in this video.
The amount of money you hear in my ez-torch application is just a dummy value. I am still trying to figure out how to synchronise the updated value with my ez-link card after every transaction or top-up.
