i listened to this piece with elbows propped on my desk, laptop speakers on the desk in front of me, and the vibrations my air received with those that traveled through the wood and up into my arms combined really brought shivers to my spine.
"Jascha Heifetz has the sensitivity, the spirit, the poetry and the largeness of vision to meet the composer all the way and turn around and do as much with the audience." quoted from Howard Taubman, former music critic of The New York Times.
I agreed your opinion ---- When I was a student of conservatory. I imitated everything of perlman at that time. I told everyone perlman is God, heifetz is a hard old man. Now I understand perlman's rendition is a kind of show of America. Heifetz's music is from soul.
@benzekryjudah may i suggest you also check out mr tibor varga's version of bruch (its on YT) just stupendous ans IMO the best bruch i have ever heard
Hmm, this isn't nearly as awesome as the 1st movement.

Simply the best player ever, a complete Master, and again a Beautiful piece of Music, you can see why this topped the classical charts for so long

Thanks of posting. I can't always say I like Heifetz's rendition (technically great as he was), but I like this piece - better than Perlman's anyway.

This comment has received too many negative votes show
perlman's rendition is much more sentimental and touching. Heifetz as usual does not linger on some notes that might have made it more warm.
