This is Gimp. It's kinda like Windows Paint. Oh wait. It's much better than Paint. LOL yeah it sure is! I love Gimp I use it on Windows too! awesome video I hear the new version of Ubuntu 9.10 runs faster too! I wouldn't mind checking it out sometime. but it takes time and I have to admit Windows 7 has me. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing. But yeah Ubuntu is great!
Gimp is frick'n awsome...Yeah the version in this vid is ol' hardy 8.04... I havent switched this computer over to 9.04 or 9.10 because 8.04 has long term support till 2011... 10.04 is the next version that will have LTS... I've got 9.04 running on a windows machine of mine using Wubi... if you aint tried wubi give it a shot... no need to partition installs/uninstalls inside of windows and uses the windows bootloader instead of grub
yea, i love linux simply because its simple and easy to use. and i have a style on my linux called "sickness black" its pretty neat. and i`m not sure what its like having a wife considering i`m only 14 :) i got linux yesterday and did a lot of research so i can become experienced in windows xp, vista and linux Ubuntu. sorry about my horrible spelling.
No this is Ubuntu, I just have it looking like windows for the ease of my wife using it as she is used to windows. I could change the main menu button to anything I please... I could even make the whole GUI look like Mac OS if I wanted....Thats whats cool about linux, you can make it look anyway you want... You can do this with windows as well but you have to download things like windows blinds to do it... in ubuntu its as simple as just downloading the theme you want to have and applying it.
