christopher nolan wanted you to understand, that in order for Jokers' rampage of the city to not cause the city itself to perish due to the fear and chaos of its aftermath(Harvey Dents mini-killing spree)Two-Face HAD to die and Batman had to be framed for it. that way the police force could say he (Harvey) died "a hero" and that batman was the culprit. watch the movie again and you'll see. i know you would LOVE for him to return, but it WOULD NOT WORK or make any sense do to its ending. idiots.

What is written in the script is not important what is is what you see in the movie. It is ambiguous as to whether TWO FACE is dead or not. He could be knocked out, or he could have a compound spinal fracture. We will have to wait until the next movie comes out or maybe even the one after that and TWO FACE returns to spice up the plot and everyone will be like "OH SHIT!
