  • I love the animation but I doubt this is how it really happened.

  • @memtroita9139

You need to lay off the drugs and the neo-liberal nonsense and read a damn book.

  • @CroSpartacus

do you even know what "neo-liberal" means? it means modern-day radical capitalists like paul ryan, alan greenspan, etc.

  • Y U NO DRAW LAFAYETTE SEXIER, ANIMATORS? >C

  • HAHAHAH WTF This was the worst representation of any part of the American Revolution I have ever seen... xD

    "CHAAAAARRGEEE!"

    YEEAAAH WOOO WEEEE!!!!

  • If only vikings existed then and they killed the Americans :)

  • @Pimentel660

lol, muskets vs. axes and halberds? yeaaah alright

  • It wasn't until "Common Sense" was published that popular opinion swayed to independence, and it only did that because King George III was so ham-fisted in dealing with the colonists and po'd everyone. Before that, every time he recognized that Parliament was being dicks (theory of parliamentary representation my ass, every british subject thinks the same = bs) they raised him a goddamn statue. Seriously, they loved that guy when he wasn't giving them the finger of I-don't-give-a-fuck-you-brats.

  • @AppleaLJ

    I love you.

  • @toonmag50 It was never about the cash. It was the fact that there was no representative of any of the colonies in Parliament, meaning that under that system, not only did the Colonies have no power and no say, the Crown and ruling Government did not even recognize them as /equal/ British subjects, which pissed a hella people off.

So the actual war was started to force the king to recognize the Colonies as FULLY EQUAL citizens, and give them the rights of representation they deserved.

    -cont-

  • wow...just wow, worst possible visual depiction that I've seen in my 12 years of researching

  • HAHAHAHAHA awesome

  • :15 .....Watch out for those fireworks General Washington!!!!

  • What a glorious moment in American Hist-NO! NOT THE BEES!!!

  • Not many American's know that Washington did not want to brake away from the colonies

He was a descendant of British aristocracy and did no at all want to break away from the colonies, however he had to go along with his people even though he did not wish for it to happen

  • @melonhead82 yes I agree he was also a officer in the british who came from washington in northern england and if you look 100 years ago or more americans are realy british-dutch pilgrims.

  • @timothydavey1

Maybe if the British Gov. allowed a Strong Colonial Empire and a Strong Colonial state government, they would have been no need to brake away

  • @melonhead82 Even me who is a british patriot as well must say that was wrong to tax them.

  • @timothydavey1

True, as William Pitt was also disgusted.

  • @timothydavey1 -the British Govt and the Crown decided to withdraw the taxes (ironically to help fight the French) before the terrorist war started. Dont believe all the yankee propaganda. Amusingly, taxes were re-introduced at a higher level by the newly formed US goverment to help repay the Free Masons and French who financed the war.

  • @toonmag50 I do not belive all the us propaganda.

  • @toonmag50 It so great to discover that there are people like you who know their history-well said dood. It pisses me off when you hear people who haven`t a fucking clue about the American War of Independance and just quite simply make up their own stories as to what they think that actually happened-Dumb Shits! Once again well said.

  • best man ever we need a president like him now

  • He'll save children but not the British Children, He'll save children but not the British Children,He'll save children but not the British Children!

  • @miamidfinsfan2613 Lol ''Americans'' were British.

  • @miamidfinsfan2613 That's the best video ever...

  • He's coming, he's coming, HES COMING!

  • Washington was no amazing military leader but rather a glue that inspired the patriots to fight on.

  • Everything about this video looks and sounds...strange. The movement, the voice acting, everything. Doesn't it seem like everything is in slow-motion, or at least much slower than it should be?

  • the ending is weird

  • Who's the Hillbilly?

  • I have it paused at 0:38 where it looks like that guy is wearing the flag as a cape. Shit's pretty righteous.

  • I remember this show but what is it called?

  • that was shit

  • 0:24 BOOOM HEADSHOT!

  • Wow, I thought I would comment with a few Washington quotes, but I guess I missed. Damn.

Oh well, the JFK vid by the neely brothers is better.

"he smelled like the future, his words felt like flowers"

  • You mean the 'Professor Brothers', Brad Neely's characters.

  • Washington, Washington, 6 foot 9, made of radiation......

  • spread, spread, Delaware.

  • that was awsome

  • Sue me if I go to fast, but the sons of his opponents wish that he was their dad.

  • the present beware. the future beware. he's coming. he's coming. he's coming.

  • @TheHammar117 thats wat she said

  • I'm surprised some see this as a propaganda film. I thought it was an excellent representation of the biography that inspired it. David McCullough is a great historian, one of the best.

  • George Washington wasn't a Christian either. I thought he was until I read "His Execellency: George Washington" Great books.

  • Washington was a nominal Christian. He was baptised in the Anglican church. He attended services at different points in his life regularly, intermittently and not at all. His office in the Virginia House of Burgesses actually required him to be in good standing with, and an attendee of the Anglican Church. He rarely spoke of religion compared to others of his day, but when he did he spoke with reverence for the devine and as a Christian. To what degree he believed we will never know.

  • In a small town called Washington, in the county of Cleavland NE England(UK) there is a large house and gardens where George Washington's Mother and Father once lived. On the Google overhead map its next to the church.

    Cheers!

  • Thanks so much Zucoy! I'll check it out.

  • The house is H shaped red tiled roof n has 2 X shaped pathways in the south garden(X X) and there's a cemetery next door. Its down - the avenue road with glebe cres to the north.

  • I like how they are using trench warfare, something that was not invented until the first world war.

  • HAHA you know nothing about history,. trench warfare was used WAY BEFORE World War 1. They used it in the War Between the States, The Spanish American War, they dug fall back positions at the Alamo. Dude trenches were nothing new in WW1. The only difference was that there were machine guns and breech loading cannons.

  • Shit. My history teacher lied to me.

  • yea even in the battle of new orleans in the war of 1812

  • in his defense, that is the most notable thing about WW1

  • He'll save children, but not the British children

  • He'll kick you apart...He'll kick you apart

  • Great Propaganda

  • George Washington was a native of Virginia, he should have a Southern accent, not sound like Superman.

  • You do know, that the VAST majority of "Americans" of the 1770s were in fact born as engishmen, or children or grandchildren of those? That the majority of the people move there from england within only a hundred years before? As a matter of fact, the Americans in Rev-War movies should speak english, not american english.

  • Vast majority were born in England? Where are your numbers dude? George Washington was born in VIRGINIA.

  • Good job reading only parts of what he said.

  • Right, if you stuff a country with englishmen, the magically speak american english, instead of english, or if they continue to speak english, their children, learning how to speak from their parents, are not speaking english, like their parents, but american english, right? sorry, my fault, I really thought, that a language takes ages to very slowly change. I should have known, languages change with the push of a button.

  • The American Colonies were already almost 200 years old, seriously, I think Virginians the the Mountain People would have developed their own dialect by then.

  • But the number of people living there during the 17th century was considerably small. It was the 18th century that saw vast numbers of enlishmen moving to the colonies.

There might have been something like a minor accent, but I think it would have sounded definately be much more english than "american". Think of the Australian people, they are now some 200+ years old, and sound quite similar/nearly identical to british.

  • your right he did have a British accent. But by this time a lot of people also had an accent related to todays modern day notheastern American accent(Vermont.Maine,New Hampshire regions)

  • Cheesiest propaganda I have seen in ages

  • Thi is the battle of YorkTown

  • dude that had like 30 dicks

  • That... had like... 30... dicks...

You're lucky you were able to see them all.

  • We fought for the future, destroyed the invader,

and brought to our homeland the Laurels of Fame.

Our glory will live in the memory of nations

and all generations will honour our name.

  • He was born in Virginia

  • He sounded like a West country farmer from England in reality.

America's origins are English, deal with it!

  • Oh, I remember these when I was a kid.

They don't make cartoons like they used to. :(

  • He'll save children, but not the British children.

    George Washington = Optimus Prime?

  • Threw a knife into heaven, and could kill with a stare.

  • Opponents beware! OPPONENTS BEWARE!!!

  • hes coming... hes coming ...hes coming

  • lol epic

  • rafael! the right flank!

  • i heard he has like 30 dicks

  • lol

  • George Washington should come back and kick Congress ass.

  • let me lay it on the line he had 2 on the vine. i mean 2 sets of testicles so devine

  • you kids are funny, quoting the GW rap. don't you think he probably had a british accent, or something?

  • No. I'm certain he spoke in Iambic Pentameter.

  • George was immortal... I'm proud to call him my great, great, great, great, great... um, maybe a few more greats in there... granduncle.

  • He's coming, he's coming, he's coming.

  • CHARGE!

  • O:24 I know this is just a cartoon but nothing touched him! lol

  • He'll kick you apart! He'll kick you apart!

  • 12 stories tall, made of radiation.

  • traitor colonist...what a joke

  • He was sooo coool. :)

  • WHAT A STUD!!

  • George Washington, THE GREATEST!

  • washington was a slave owner and gave fuck all rights to blacks...he would be turning in his grave that a black man is now president of america

  • you know that Washington freed his slaves after his death..and treated them like his own family..you sir need to read a book once in a while

  • and there was always this comment that followed washington he was the best rider in Virginia second best was his slave who he treated like a son

  • How French won the american Revolutionary War...

1776 - 90% of all gunpowder supplies imported from France who semi secretly had been involved from the get-go and didn't bail out yanks due to any friendship.. rather ONLY because they were terrified of the British Empire, as were Spanish & Dutch

August 1776 - British captured New York, September 1777 Philadelphia

British had overwhelming naval superiority over the american colonists, so the War at Sea was solely British and French fleets

  • Our great news magazine, DER SPIEGEL, shows this pedo bastard G Washington with a bullet shot through his sick head. GREAT. Hope this is available soon as a poster - would be nice with stars and stripes toilet paper.

  • ??????

  • Yeah! Kill the Brits!

  • Washington, washington 12 stories high made of Radiation

  • you guys have no lives. calling each other idiots, arguing, and whatnot over the text comments on youtube about george washington. psh.

  • Shouldn't Washington have a British accent?

  • Washington was a good president but a very, very very bad general. Bolivar, Sucre, San Martin were excellent generals.

  • wtf are u on crack??? he was a great general.... he was so good he became comander in chief after resigning from the presidency

  • a good general you say? he lost the Long Island battle and many other battles, in fact the French help was decisive for the American revolution war. If you tell me about excellent generals of independence wars in the Americas then you have Simon Bolivar, Jose de San Martin and Antonio Jose de Sucre, those were real generals, Washington compared to them was a pawn in chess.

  • sure he lost those wars but they were on his early years of being a young general but he did have alot of heart and was a great patriot and without some of his battles america would not be what it is today... sure simon bolivar and jose de san martin were great generals compared to washington but washington wasnt just a general he was also our president and through many years also a hero to our nation .... and in generals all those you mention couldnt compare to scipio africanus N jullius caeser

  • Washington was a good president but not a good general. Yeah, Scipio Africanus and Julius Caesar couldt compare to Bolivar and San Martin, you forgot what most historians consider the greatest general ever; Alexander Magne(Alexander the Great) but my intention was only about generals of the Americas independence.

  • dude, Washington didn't lose any war. If it wasn't for Washington the revolutionary war would have been lost. Washington eventually forced the British into Yorktown where they were forced to surrender when the french navy prevented them from escaping. Washington was against enormous odds he had an untrained militia while the British had some of the best trained and best supplied Army in the world. See what happens when you are not educated about your country?

  • If you aren't educated, you will not be able to tell the difference between lies and the truth. Henceforth, you will not be able to defend the truth.

  • Is not me who say that Washington was a bad general but the scholar of American history. Dont let your patriotism blind you. If it wasnt for Lafayette the revolutionary war would have been lost! Washington as a great general is a myth made by some Americans. George Catllet Marshall, Dwight D. Eisenhower, Douglas MacArthur, man those ones were excellent American generals compared to Washington.

  • @jevitigre Not true, Washington was a good General......you forget that Washington was able to keep America in the fight 4 years before France got involved. Remember, Washington was leading an army of FARMERS against the greatest power in the world. He did not have a professional army. He was not THE most birlliant General. But he knew what he was doing....and he had some of the greatest leadership qualities any General has ever had. This is why he ranks as one of the greatest Generals ever

  • jevitigre, you are an idiot. He was a great general. He was so good that after the revolutionary war the commanders of the continental army asked him if he wanted to be King, Washington humbly refused. You're an idiot, if it wasn't for Washington pressing on and winning victories against such enormous odds, we would be speaking british and we would be serving under a king. Jevitigre go to school you ignoramus.

  • Speaking British?

  • I meant speaking with a British accent. Sorry about that lol.

  • i meant battles

  • he has a wig for a wig and a brain for his heart, he'll kick you apart, he'll kick you apart!

  • On a horse made of crystal he patrolled the land, with his mason ring and schnauzer and his perfect hands.

  • whats this movie called?

  • George Washington was a true gangsta.

  • when Washington crossed the Delaware he needn't have bothered......love your mother country of ENGLAND you yank reb colonials

  • we had a revolution to get rid of you folks :)

  • Damn right

  • General George Washingtons best skill in war is that he could retreat so well and live to fight another day. He lost more battles then he won. He was a real thorn in the red coats side.

  • sry he was a great humanist hero actually sry ur ignorant are suck

  • Washington sounds like Al Gore on South Park

  • George Washington looked like he was on steriods

  • George Washington invented steroids

  • wat movie was that?

  • that is fking kool

  • what movie is this from?

  • I thought this guy was 12 storeys tall, made of radiation?

  • He Once Stuck And Opponents Wife's Hand...

    In A Jar Of Acid

    At A Party..

  • Most people dont know that washington wasn't our 1st prestident, John Hanson was elected in 1781 followed by 6 other presidents (all serving one year terms). They were forgoten because they served under the The Articles of Confederation, not the US Constitution.

  • Now a days, we do not reference our leaders with the Articles of Confederation, because it is a retired system of government. When we talk about anything government, like presidents, we associate them with the U.S. Constitution which we are currently under.

  • yeah but we were america and they were presidents, plain and simple.

  • Sure, but like I said, we do not reference them as presidents because the AOC is a retired gov't. Therefore, we do not really find significance(as far as todays politics go) with a group of several presidents in a short time who had no real power. Besides, they were not really presidents of the US , but heads of the Second Continental Congress, and the AOC was not a particularly powerful governing system.

  • I watched this when i was in 3rd grade.

it was sad and a good animation.

  • Did that guy's head just get Blown Off at 0:43?

  • he made love like an eagle falling out of the sky, killed his sensei in a dual and he never said why...

  • God save the Queen.

  • Is this scene the battle of Monmouth?

  • He's coming...

  • YAY Fireworks!

  • He'll save children, but not the british children.

  • Thomas Paine was the best.

  • He has a wig for a wig, and a brain for his heart.

  • I wish he'd have eaten some opponent's brains or at the very least a deer.

  • Threw a knife into heaven and could kill with a stare.

  • Truth be told, and I do love American History but Washington was insecure... which is normal. Americans were out gunned, out skilled, etc. It pains me to say this but if it were not for the French we would have been shooting with our dicks b/c we had no ammunition... yeah, the french ended it with a blockade... amazing stuff. BUT, most importantly, it was Englands pride that lost them the war. They were the ones that got the indians involved and fighting Americans!!

  • George Washington was the greatest person in our country besides God. Don't let the liberals and the democrats try to remove what the forefathers had in mind when they set up this country. Don't let it happen.

  • God is a person? BLASPHEMY!

Sounds like you've already been brainwashed by the neo-conservative Christian agenda. Why don't you actually read a book about our founding fathers instead of listening to what your pastor tells you about them? You might be surprised by what you find.

  • douchebag

  • George Washington is the greatest human being in history! He was a great soldier and general. He was incredibly brave and was a tremendous inspiration to his men. He set the standard to which all presidents are compared. He is the father of his country. But what truly set him apart was his humility. How many other "great" men in history have walked away from power? How about none. God bless you George! You are truly the greatest of them all...

  • Paine inspired the whole nation with Common Sense. Our first best selling author and the first to call for independence. Paine also wrote the American Crisis Papers which inspired deserting soldiers to come back.

  • You know, If a Washington movie was ever made, I always thought Kevin Kline would be perfect to play him.

  • George Washington: The ORIGINAL G.I. Joe.

  • He'll save children, but not the British children. He'll save children, but not the British children. He'll save children, but not the British children. He'll save children, but not the British children.

  • a bit overboard much?

  • oh you bet i ask where are the slave decenents that came from his "family tree" in this

  • ok im with ive although washington was a great man that does not make him invinceable he is after all just a man he lost men people died he was fearful during the war but he overcame that fear is all p.s. hes one of the many heroes of the nation :D

  • AHAHAHA

the shots look like pretty fireworks!!!

  • dang he didnt die.
